Geode Shop reviews
12 If you love rocks or fossils, this is a small slice of heaven.
Check out the wall of famous people signatures on slabs of agates.
Been to this twice and once again I'm amazed with the beautiful geode I picked out and they cut.they make nice gifts
This store has been here at knott's for over 30+ years. We always stop and enjoy watching them cut and sell geo's.
So far in the *multiple* geode finds I've gotten from here, I've only come across variations that contain clear quartz as the major component. Kind of wish they had different types of quartz but overall price is fair. You can buy other things inside to which are at a good price. I've scoped out some crystals in other locations and some in this shop will actually be cheaper than other places so it's a hit or miss when you're looking for specific crystals and cuts BUT the staff always makes my visit to the park worth it. So nice, knowledgeable, and entertaining.
Love this place. So sad that they had to give up there spot at the LA fair. Wish there was a way to get to them and not have to pay for entrance to the park.
Had to walk in to Knott's Berry farm to shop, very difficult and very time consuming, then the actual shop did not have the inventory we expected. Disappointing
Cool little geode shop that has expanded over the years. We love geology and tend to splurge when we see decent priced rocks and geodes. For a theme park geode shop, they have very decent prices. Definitely worth a stop, even if you're not looking to buy. But, really, everyone should own geodes.
The guy that works there on Sunday is the best he's funny, knowledgeable and informative. His name is James
Love the geode shop. Those guys really know there stuff. We get at least one every month or so.
I love this shopi have a few geodes to. We just went back here again yesterday 2-28-19. We were talking with gene, he's very nice. So is the other guy with dark hair and glasses. Always a cool store to go to
I really enjoy this shop. Interesting pieces. My daughter who's into minerals really likes it even now that she's 35. One think that I think is important to point out before you set out to visit is that it's located within the Knott's Berry Farm complex, so you would have to pay the admission price to visit the shop. Kind of wonder why they don't have it outside by the restaurant so you could visit and buy without having to pay admission.
