Georgia's Greek Cuisine reviews
19 I’m not vegetarian, but got the Vegetarian platter and was amazed! Everything we got today was phenomenal. Best Greek food I’ve ever had!
Also, restaurant is extremely clean.
Wow! This place was/is so amazing! There was a Greek guy greeting patrons while sipping wine. It was so authentic and delicious!
One of the most Greek restaurant in San Diego. We love their outdoor patio dining. Thw interior decor was amazing. The staff and server are very friendly making sure we have everything we wanted and if the food is delicious and of course it was. We had beef kebab and calamari plates and was really sumptuous. We had their homemade baklava as a dessert and it was a real delicacy.
Recommend the Opa plate so you get a bit of several things- it's all delicious and the gyro is so tender! Big enough to share. The service was friendly and the wait was reasonable. There's a garden-like sunroom dining area, as well as indoor dining. I recommend dressing up a bit and will warn that you have to go through the kitchen to get to the bathroom.
Lovely place, the food and service were great, and the owners were so kind. You can tell and taste the difference, feel the love of a family run restaurant. If you're in San Diego and like Greek food, stop by Georgia's!
Ordered on Uber Eats and it was still incredibly fresh and delicious.
Got the gyro plate. Sides were dank and the meat was super fresh, could tell it was quality and recently sliced.
IMO, best greek food i've had in san diego.props to the kitchen?
This place is the bomb.the food was incredible and the portions aren’t oversized. The calamari is perfectly cooked, the bread and sauces are all homemade.the staff is awesome and super accommodating. AND THERES AN INDOOR GARDEN.enough said lol
My boyfriend and I stopped here for the first time from out of town. He got the Opa and I got the gyro sandwich. Absolutely delicious! Service was quick!
Great food. The Greek salad is excellent. Very generous portion, great olives. The baklava was great too. The service was quick. They were all very kind. Georgia's will be our go to Greek from now on.
Not only are the waitresses beautiful but the service and food is amazing.
Just stopped here for a work trip and had their Gyro sandwich twice because it was that good. And I know my gyros. I'm from Chicago and that is one of the main spots in the country for it.
Best Greek restaurant i have been too. Family owned by Georgia. Everything is fresh and prepared by owner overseeing the full operation and involved in preparing the food with her employees. Totally awesome place. A hidden gem in San Diego since 1977. Gyro Greek salad very good.
I haven't been here in almost a decade when the belly dancers would perform. Not sure if they still do. I arrived on a Saturday around 5ish. Seating was immediate. You know what was also immediate? The owner came to my table to greet me and ask me about my day. Interestingly, she did that for all the tables. I am mostly impressed with how the beautiful tropical plants inside the restaurant, alongside the street side block the eyesore of traffic. And no gnats!
The inside tables have white table cloth coverings while the patio/inside have wood tables with no cloths. I ordered the chicken grilled kebab dinner plate. There are choices of chicken like broiled, grilled, and boiled. Anyhoot, the cool feature is the plating of the kebab without the stick. Yum. And the plating is so appealing that even the waitress was taking pics of the food. Ha!

Picked up a gyro plate and chicken kebab. All fresh, delicious and tender (the kebab). And the portion is huge considering we got the lunch special. Can't wait to go back again.
Omg I have never had Greek food before in my life. I love it and definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy their food.
I stopped by for lunch at this cute cafe off of Camino del Rio and Rosencrans. They seated me in the pretty patio to the side with plenty of green plants and Greek themed ceramics. I ordered their beef kabob and dolmades combo plate, which came with rice, tzatziki, Greek salad with creamy Greek dressing and pita. It came out quickly and everything was warm and filling. The dolmades were topped with a thick avgolemono sauce and the beef kabob had a charbroiled flavor to it. The atmosphere in the patio was cute and cozy. The food is good, quick and they give you plenty for the price.
I've been eating at Georgia's for 40 years and have never been disappointed
I just had lunch at her establishment today and her food has not lost it's quality in all these years, just gotten better, Thank You Georgia
We planned for sushi, but so glad we chose Greek. This place had not waiting in line and they are so friendly. The pita bread is delicious. We bought some to go too We tried the Greek beer and wow, very smooth with a kick Trust me, everything is delicious, enjoy!
Not a fan of their decor but food is good. Had the gyro sandwich and I can say that it is better than Kebab Shop or Daphne’s. Plenty of gyro meat.
From the outside, I don’t feel this restaurant is inviting. That’s why I haven’t tried this place and I’ve driven passed this for the last 15 years. But try it out and I bet you’ll be surprised.
You need to come here. The people are amazing and the food is even better!
Ask your server for their recommendations - they always offer up a delish plate.
Thank you Georgia’s!
