GBV wines are aged at least 5 years before they serve them! As a result, they are low in tannins, most are single grape varietals, and all very good tasting. They are a red-wine-only vintner. Our server was amazingly good at her job: very knowledgeable, attentive, and funny. Couldn't leave without buying 3 bottles! Their wines may be a little more expensive than normal, but I have never had a Winery serve wines that HAD to be at least 5 years old before uncorking! Going back again for sure!
