BEWARE! Afifi botched my surgery on 8/31/06. I’m forever scarred. I’m lopsided, without sensation, and scars are large. Afifi was in a rush to get to airport. Afifi did not offer to fix her mistake. Her office was in Newport Beach close to Balboa Island (prior to Santa Ana move) and her office manager was a male.

There aren’t enough amazing words to describe Dr Afifi. She’s meticulous, caring, confident and makes you feel comfortable immediately. Her work is impeccable because she pays attention to all the details. She treats you like family.

Recovery was as expected, but nothing too bad. Now, 5 weeks post-op, I am feeling great, super happy and I am in love with the results.

Dr Afifi is amazing…the amount of care and concern that she places into her patients is incredible.

I’ve had two reconstruction Surgeries in the last 10 years from her and I wouldn’t trust another surgeon! Both experiences were very positive! She consulted with care, she was super thorough, executed on exactly her commitments on and then the follow up and care in recovery was something I had never seen! She continuously checked on me and then even checked on me and saw me specifically while on vacation because she cared!

I have known Dr. Afifi for many years. And the one thing that I'm really so glad to say is that each time years went by I was hoping she was still available and still around. I tell you she is not only available but still so magnificent in all that she has done for me. She took time out of her schedule and set up a conference video call to my insurance company to make sure they understood that my surgery was necessary to maintain my overall daily health. And she won. I was first denied coverage, but that only lasted until she spoke with them and educated them on the process and urgency of my breast reduction. That is beyond the call of duty to me. If you are contemplating anything done to your body, Dr. Afifi is the ONLY one you need. I am so grateful for her and her staff, for the beautiful work she have also done for my son.
