This place is fantastic "Old School Way" I called Brett Hallum service manager he put me in the shop and Chino and Colton not only fixed my truck and trailer they washed all my wheels and back end of my trailer, they take "PRIDE" in there work, I was back on the road with in a few hours. I recommend this repair shop to everyone, I will use them again. Thank all of you at Gibbs Truck Center

The Gibbs Experiance has been Great.
I have been in for hard to find parts and the parts department is outstanding and most of the time they had the part in stock.
The service department is Amazing.that team of the service writers, the warranty person and the shop manager all are open, honest, and communicate with me so dang well. Just from the customer service side they will continue to have my business. They do care about my needs and they show it. The work that the shop has done. BOOM! Its been Fast turn around times to help keep my equipment on the road.

I have been dealing with Gibbs for many years, the last few times I have called for service I have been dealing with Chad Dawson and let me tell you that Chad does an incredible job for my extensive fleet of vehicles, Chad does what he says he is friendly and very knowledgeable when it comes to anything related to his job or International parts & Service. Worst experience! Every time we drop off our rig they take 2-3 days to even look and diagnose the issue and the last time we took our truck in for a warranty covered issue they took a month to fix the truck because they ordered the wrong parts 3 different times and kept giving us the run around and excuse that employees called out sick so things couldn’t get done or fixed because they had no one else to do the work. Because of their Incompetencies this owner operator was down for a whole month and this is a huge set back for us. Needless to say, we will not be returning as a customer.

Absolutely amazing service! We work over the road and needed a couple parts while driving thru Bakersfield. The wonderful gentleman working in the parts department verified the two parts I needed and even stayed after close for us to pick them up. A+/5 Star service all around! Highly recommend and will be returning here when I’m in the area for all of my part needs. Thank you!

I am the service manager @ pacific shipping and trucking in colorado, we have around 25 trucks run to california every week.everytime we have gone to Gibbs in Bakersfield they are the best people to work with hands down. If you need hepl in the bakersfield are or any of there other locations please use Gibbs.

I've had the Bakersfield location work on my truck 3 different times. They got me right in, that's very important since I'm from another state. They have always went above and beyond other places I've had work done. The repairs wasn't simple either. An a/c system, clutch, and the latest was replacing a starter (sounds simple) but the mounting bolts were seized. Took all day but they got me rolling. I would highly recommend these guys and gals to everyone. Back home at the international dealer it takes a week to get your truck in. These guys are really good. Thank you I'll definitely come back when coming through Bakersfield.

Update.watch your warranty work.my a/c went out 2 weeks before warranty was up. They said it was low on freon and charged $600.still didn't work right. Had a jit load on so couldn't stay longer. Got to Oklahoma and the bill was $3700 more to repair. Gibbs only refunded me $150.won't use gibbs again
