Ben was great! I totally recommend him for a tire change, he came to us in under 45 minutes and changed my tire in under 5! Great guy, he deserves a raise!

Had to wait an hour for the tow, but when he got there he got busy asap. Excellent customer service. Clear and fair charges, and everything went smoothly. Would definitely use again!

I was taking my family to the beach. About 2 hours away from home and an hour away from the destination, our car broke down on the side of the highway! Vincent made it to us in 1/2 the time they said, and after looking at it, he said it was just a battery! Vincent gave us a jump and we went on our way. Best towing/vehicle service I have EVER received. 10/10 recommendation

Had Ben as a driver. Usave rental car broke down. Ben drove us from Santa Maria to Seaside with the vehicle! 3 hour drive! Amazing guy. Amazing service. Ben is an amazing guy who deserves the recognition.

I locked myself while my car was running. I called my insurance but they were taking forever and I just contacted Gils and they were really quick to respond. Vincent the driver got to me really fast very cool guy. I know who to call next time I need help.

So when my ignition failed me, I was lucky enough to get Gils Towing in Santa Maria to tow me to a garage. Lucky because the nice guy from Gils referred me to ADVANCED AUTO LOCKSMITH as the garage I was towed to.wouldn't touch a mercedes ignition. They said I should tow it to Santa Barbara to a dealer (way expensive solution).

So Marc shows up from Advanced Auto with all the equipment, plus computers to sync keys and ignition switch ON THE SPOT... After a few hours as he had to pull my entire dash apart to get to the ignition switch.the ignition switch and the new key fobs were sync to work and installed in my car and I was back on the road!
(Pretty painless solution with the alternative having to tow my car 100 miles or so).

All experiences with Gil's have been very positive. Today Vicente came out. So very polite, friendly and professional.

They were able to help out when my insurance called them for roadside assistance, but were unavailable later on when we eventually found out that we needed to move our broken car to another mechanic. This wouldn't be a problem I blame them for, but the guy was very wishy-washy and kind of went back and forth on when or if he could move my car before finally deciding he couldn't.

My car had completely shut down on the highway I called Gil’s towing and vincente showed up on time and was extremely professional my car is very low and vincente was able to charge the car enough to put it into neutral he then used wood in order to not scratch the front of my car at all. This was the best towing service that I have ever used and I highly recommend it to anyone in need thank you again Vincente you could not have done a better job!

Had to move a car out of apt parking for asphalt repair. Couldn't find the key, but Ben had no problem manuvering the tight corners, winching it up and finding a safe spot for me. This Gramma really appreciated his skill!

Vincent with Gil’s towing provided excellent service. My car was stuck with a dead battery in a two hour parking zone as the vacation town I was visiting was shutting down. Without Vincent’s quick service my car could have been impounded. Vincent delivered my car to the Ford dealership after hours with a picture proof of delivery with it ready for first of the line service the next morning! I had a breakdown in Pismo Beach on my way to Santa Barbara in the evening yesterday. I called just about every tow company in the area and most of them were not willing to tow me all the way to Santa Barbara. Gil's accepted the challenge and sent Mike to pick me and my car up. Mike is a great guy and I was very impressed by the professionalism and service that he offered. I highly recommend Gil's Towing if you need your car towed. Thanks guys!

If not for COVID, I would have hugged the driver Miguel! I was trying to get my car to the tire shop to repair and it went super FLAT on the way. I pulled over to a gas station and my husband, who was following in his car, tried to put the spare on but the lug nuts were on too tight. We decided to call for a tow to just get it to the shop. Miguel arrived in about 5 minutes and was super friendly and professional. He asked what happened and we explained. He had better equipment on his truck and was able to help change the tire so we didn’t need the tow. He could have easily just picked up as a tow and made us pay more but he was honest and helpful. I will definitely use and recommend Gil’s for a tow next time it’s needed!

Vincent was the absolute best. Knew exactly where to find me and the best places to take me to get my car fixed when it broke down on the highway. He made the whole experience easy when I was feeling so stressed. 5 stars for sure.
