Giuseppe's Cucina Italiana, Pismo Beach CA

Food was great. Got seated next to kitchen, not my choice of seating, and we arrived at 5: 00 for dinner. I guess you have to take what you get. Always good food though.

Had the Bucatini Amatriciana. It was really salty, and sauce had no depth worse than canned. Tourist trap, waste of money. Don’t recommend, wouldn’t back.

Great food, must try margarita pizza and bruschetta. Wait time was an hr, plan accordingly!

Perfect. I am from Europe and often dined in Italy, so I know what I'm talking about. This is a real Italien Restaurant. I had the gnocchi, which were handmade and tasted just perfect. My daughter had some really good and al dente Tagliatelle. My Husband had a Pizza, which also tasted great. Well done Giuseppe. Keep going

If there is a best restaurant on the central coast, this might be it. It is all about the quality of food, authenticity, level of service, excellence, price to value, history, embrace by locals. I could go on and on. This place operates at the highest level of any dining establishment in the region and at the same level I have seen in internationally renown kitchens. This is a real restaurant, not a chain, not a mediocre mom and pop. This is how a true dining establishment should operate. It thrives and has been around for a long time.for a reason!

We really liked this restaurant. We had the clams linguine and ciopino. Both were very good. Went back a couple of nights later for pizza and a beer in the bar, and it was the best pizza I’ve had. The bartenders were great too.

Always great food, great service and great atmosphere. The squash blossoms are always a favorite when in season. The sand dabs were delicious!

We had a large group and were accommodated quickly! Very nice dinner for the whole group! Cheers! I suggest having the wedge salad to start! Bartenders Shane and Jeff are the best in town! I always enjoy my visits here!

Went for a work related meeting. Food had great flavor, and they had some good vegetarian options. We all enjoyed our time there.

Love this place. They only bad part is that they don’t take reservations and the wait is usually quite a while. Get there right when they open to enjoy a fabulous Italian treat. You’ll only need one cocktail. They do them right!

The 1 STAR is for the hostess. At our arrival we were told the wait is approximately 45 min to an hour. My daughter’s really wanted to try the food here so we decided to wait. Unfortunately the wait turned into 2hrs 11 minutes. I noticed several parties came after us and was seated. Every time I approached her she had this really annoyed look on her face and would respond with another 20-30 minutes. With such amazing food and wonderful service from our waiter I should be giving a 5 STAR. Unfortunately she has earned this 1 star review.

As a pizza enthusiast, I opted for the Margherita, but unfortunately, it was lackluster. The tomato sauce lacked flavor, the cheese was unimpressive, and the basil had been overcooked. My expectations were higher. On the bright side, my wife relished her ravioli dish.

I will forever come here! God bless the waiters who had our group as we came in after a wine tasting, but they were nothing but kind and informative!
