Go Go Japan Sushi & Bento, Oceanside CA

Honestly the best & most fresh sushi I’ve had in the area and I’ve tried them all! Great portions, great prices & the staff has always been great every time I come. If I could give GoGo Japan 10 stars I would!

Update. Been here several times over 20 years. Must've sold it. Absolutely downhill. Shorted on order. Sushi a joke. Horrible presentation. No soy sauce or utensils upon request. Fish weak at best. Place was the best, now try the rest.

We always have exceptional service and the food is always amazing. They have great deals throughout the week. We definitely recommend coming here for lunch or dinner

I’ve lived in the East Coast & Mid-West so when I came to town for the weekend, all I wanted was some sushi. I was recommended Go Go Sushi by my hosts & was pleasantly surprised to be served just about the largest Poke Bowl I’ve ever had.

The Chef was nice & it was delicious. It was a tad sour towards the bottom (maybe a bit too much vinegar) but whatever, I ate it all! It was only $17 and I was impressed.

I got one of the sushi lunch combo and it's pretty fresh. I also like that it came with gyoza and edamame which is pretty rare with lunch combos. They have a wider selection compared to the normal Japanese restaurant so I'm interested in trying some of their other offerings in the future based on what I experienced.

Love this place, great deals, great service, fun environment to enjoy while eating. Been here many times and am always happy with it.

This quaint place has been at this location for over 20yrs and it is my favorite! The food is always fresh and delicious. I can't believe they still have the Thursday night specials at the same price! Thank you GoGo Japan! Highly recommend!

You want good sushi that will leave you stuffed, there are many places for that. You want great sushi that will leave you very satisfied and ready to enter a food coma if you decide to try to finish what you're served in one sitting, then this is the place to go to. Let this serve as forewarning.seriously bring an appetite as you will get a lot of food for your money compared to other food sushi places.

I personally recommend the sushi cupcake or any combination for the bento boxes. My kids loved their crispy chicken (basically chicken kaarage), shrimp tempura, and the gyoza. I was hoping to have room after my first sushi order to try out a variety of other rolls, but I had to tap out just after finishing half of my sushi cup cake order.

This is a family owned restaurant, and the owners are very friendly and welcoming, and a lot of their Japanese-stylized paintings were done by their daughter. Overall the atmosphere was warm and cozy. If you are ever in the Oceanside, CA area, do not miss out on this hidden gem! Now that my family has found it, we are definitely coming back!

Frequently ordering from this establishment. We love sushi and they offer very reasonably priced pretty wide variety of rolls and many other items But rolls are definitely favorite. Not high end sushi but casual and delicious. Thanks Go Go Japan! We enjoyed it

Cute place, nice ambiance. I think the owner was behind the counter. They make yummy futomaki and have really good all day specials and combos.

Best sushi ever around the area. Never get tired of eating since they have a lot of options on the menu.

Oh man. This place is tasty. Forget the Panda, Chipotle and Jersey Mike's next door and head straight into this place. I placed my order to go and man the flavors and quality of food is amazing. I can just imagine what eating there must be like. Will definitely be back next time in Oceanside.

Great food.loved the Bento box. On the previous visit, I enjoyed great sushi. Beats many of the other sushi laces in the area.

White mushrooms were the highlight! Was recommended by a friend and did not disappoint. Only thing the crunch roll wasn’t very crunchy. Still I’m coming back: -p

My experience there was great and the service was good. The waiter was super nice and very respectful. He recommended a dish which was great. The food was exceptional and very affordable! I would definitely go again!

Been going here for years and I love the food and the fact that they have so many options. Best casual sushi restaurant in the area for sure
