Horrific rooms like actually scary. I'm so uncomfortable and to scared to ask for a refund. Do not book here! You'd be better off in the car or outside tbh

Friendly reception and kindly free update to another room. The rooms are large, clean and well furnished. I would recommend anytime.

My friends and I stayed at this place and it was infested with flies outside where the trashcans were and these flies infested our room. They gave us a new room, and it was cleaner but there were still so many flies outside that got inside our cars whenever we would open the doors.

I met a guy at a bar who invited his room I was there for a few hours he went to the casino came back with another friend and while we were waiting outside he locked us out so I reported to the front desk asking to check on him because I was worried about his health and they told me not to worry about it and get off the effing property before they called the police. I told them I was worried about him and asked if they would just check on him or call 911 so they would. My friend was only sidetracked and fell asleep in the restroom but he could've died and they would've loved it. Continental breakfast was more like the snack the dentist gives you and when I went to see it they ripped the snack out of my hand and cussed at me more. Worst vacation ever.

Really it was very neat and tidy, with microwave, a small fridge, hair dryer, and continental breakfast

It was a nice comfy place to stay the only thing wrong was that it was really cold in the room and it didn’t seem to ever warm up in there at all until we started taking showers, and then you have to be very careful in the shower I just about slipped and fell twice in the shower because it’s very slippery in the shower! Everything else was great!

Service was great and location is perfect. Unfortunately, the rooms are terrible and run down. This place is full of addicts. We didn't feel comfortable at all, we laid down our own bedding on top of their bedding, and didn't use the shower.

Quaint single story lodging with a simple continental breakfast for a quick overnight through town or a nice warm stay in Historic Sonora for a weekend getaway. Thank you all kindly for hosting my nice stay with you at Gold Lodge!

The room was not worth the money they charged us, it looked used and abused. The manager was amazing and gave us a refund automatically.

Fairly friendly and helpful staff. Good location close to down town Sonora and fair grounds. Inexpensive rooms if staying for short time

Nice quiet atmosphere friendly. In need of some TLC. And upgrades. An actual key for your room. Unusual

This Place was worse than disgusting. Should have a clue when we were told at check in heat doesn’t work but there is space heaters and a special way to open door. And noticed large trash bags and personal belongings outside the doors of at least 3 rooms. Walked in and mismatched furniture. Bed linens old and dingy. Smelled awful. Dirty. Walls probably hadn’t been touched up in a decade and door frame to front door was busted. Room 18 to be specific. Not sure where some of these photos came from but they aren’t from this place at all. Left for a bit and came back at dark. More riff raff in parking lot. Flipped light on and roaches scattered on table. We’re we’re out. The best thing I can say is the lady at office was super nice although not surprised about the roaches. Offered us a new room or a full refund for the two nights that we had paid. Decided to take the refund obviously went up the road to country Inn. 360° difference in the quality for the exact same price. Don’t waste your money and go somewhere else. I did not look at these reviews before stopping there.

The most disgusting place we have ever been to. Our room was so dirty and it stinked. Tons of mosquitoes were on the outside door, since there is a light right above the door. Every dollar spent for this place is too much. Next time, we would rather stay at the parkinglot of Walmart, before we would spend one more night here.

The pillows were excellent! Would love to know where they came from? Slept like a baby! Simple breakfast, simple clean room and manager was friendly. Park right in front of your room. Nice price!

The room was big but had a lot of problems. The head boards were damaged, the shower had mold, the sink was leaking, the blinds let the sun in, and there breakfast was a joke. The people were amazing and very friendly

It's a busy busy busy motel! Er, Lodge. Only the brave and armed should stay here. Best to leave it to the locals. Don't hate me for being honest lol

Great water pressure. Beds r comfy. Good content. Breakfast with hot coffee. Willing to work out the issues if u have any. Quiet. Cleaner.

Made a reservation through hotels.com and no room was available when I showed up. I even called in advance to confirm the room would be available. Showed up at 2pm and was told rooms would only be available at 3pm. After waiting an hour I was told there was a system glitch and didn’t have a room for us. Overall the service was quite poor and front desk attitude in dealing with this situation was also pretty bad.

Crowded rooms beds are too big for the room and the faucet leaks. But nice office help and semi reasonable price
