Golden 1 Credit Union, Bakersfield CA

I have been with this credit union for more than ten years and have seen so many employees come and go. The customer service is ok, but the benefits are horrible. I just keep this account open for direct deposit and check cashing only.

Manager women was on a power trip. She didn’t make the auto loan easy for sure.keep putting up issues instead of solutions!

Super sweet and helpful customer service. I have had no issues or problems what so ever.

The only problem I have is with their online banking, when you have a joint account you can't have separate login usage.

This is the worst credit union bank, tellers are rude, why all the plexiglass? Is this southcentral LA? Aweful

Love this Bank wish they had another location in town but you can use 7-11 ATM for free. Good employees very friendly. Been here 5 years

I've had nothing but good experiences. I've had multiple loans and they have all gone smoothly. My car loan had the lowest APR the dealer ever saw. Security has been awesome. I got hacked and G1 not only called me to see if I was buying plane tickets to S. Africa, they got my account reimbursed and oredered new cards in less than a week. Mobile banking with G1 is a breeze.

Changed policies without notifying the customers horrible service would not recommend go some where’s else and avoid this place

Rude workers! They take forever! They have no sense of urgency to assist customers! The tellers just sit and talk to each other while you wait forever for one of them to call you up! This is what you at credit union's. I don't think so.

I was with this stupid bank for a whole year.but now I am with safe 1 better customer service and no bs I called to get a payoff with golden one and they were being rude and hung up on me and refused to give me a payoff I was told I needed to drive 35 minutes to one of the locations because they wanted to make sure it was me what a bunch of idiots safe 1 credit union is so easy to work with I am never doing business with golden one ever again

My experience with Golden One was horrible. They closed my wife's account without warning with checks that were still out because we had to short sale house which was financed through them. They are a sham of a credit union and will burn you when you are at your most vulnerable position Don't bank with them.

Golden 1 doesn't have very attractive checking options. Kern FCU pays you $7/month just for being a member and unlimited atm reimbursements.
