4Absolutely love this place! Been coming here for three years, for our family’s vacation. Lisa and Melissa are absolutely fantastic and help you with your needs! Nice and quiet right on the Klamath river. Price is very reasonable as well.
We have traveled a good portion of the US and hands down this has been our fav. The managers are so incredibly nice, the views are beautiful. And it was incredibly peaceful.
Two caveats…which wouldn’t deter us from coming back. I 100% regret not staying more than a week.
1. Wifi/starlink is not very good and at night when there are more people using it it is very slow. We went to the clubhouse to work and that was a tiny bit better at times.
2. The sites were designed as drive in NOT back in, so the dump and plug in sites were the opposite of where they should be if you are backing your rig in. Ours is 44 ft so definitely backed in. Luckily you usually only have to dump once a week. They have very clean well maintained bathrooms and showers.
You can’t beat this beautiful location! Gorgeous park that’s well maintained. We went during spring break, and only a few spots were being used. The Camp hosts were very kind. We truly loved our holiday in the Redwoods and hope to come back soon!
AWESOME RIVERFRONT STAY IN KLAMATH
We stayed in a riverfront space from early fall until late winter (Oct thru Feb). Facing the river, we were on the left side of the park and often by ourselves. The park is very well kept and the staff are friendly. Nice clean showers and laundry room. Great internet. The river views and sunsets from our motorhome were amazing. It is a sunny park and we had many sunny days that warmed our motorhome from sunrise to sunset. We sat outside in the sun often. The ocean is close, we could hear it at night. During the 9+ atmospheric rivers from Christmas until mid Jan (2023) the river almost rose to flood action stage. The staff watched closely and we felt safe. There was a beautiful (rare) snow storm in Feb. We enjoyed our stay and did not want to leave, but work was waiting. We look forward to returning.
