Golden Egg Omelet House, Escondido CA

This place is a very family breakfast place! Food is good, service is amazing, and overall good. We went the day after Christmas, so it was a little bit of a longer wait time, but that was no problem for us. I RECOMMEND FOR BRUNCH LOVERS!

Great Breakfast! One meal is enough for two people. And reasonably priced for the amount of food given!

Great food, decent prices, nice calm/homey atmosphere, and great service. Can't ask for more. We went on a rainy week day and it was about half-full, but I know it can get busy on weekdays.

We came here late in the afternoon and wow! Great food great service! I had the #29 out of 90 omlettes.

Not coming back. Our server was really rude and the plate that I order was missing ingredientes. Really overpriced. Really unhappy with coming here to celebrate my bday. Bad choice.

Portions are substantial. Their Dudley bread is definitely worth the upcharge. Quality is good. Cost is around $16 per omelette.

The vibe was awesome. Very nice feel to the ambience and decor. We had the Mess, the omelette with smoked beef and a hamburger. The food portions are huge!

99 omelets on the wall, you take one down and pass it around 98 omelets left on the menu for all. What extraordinary experience dinning at dying breed Mom & Pop establishment. No chain dinner has anything close on this place. True home style feel, chefs infuse quality ingredients in harmony, and assemble omelets fit for a King & Queen. Only 98 omelets left to sample. Kudos to staff and cooks of this stellar restaurant!

Good food and not skimpy. Service was a little slow but the restaurant was as busy as I've seen it and that's good news post-pandemic; I'm willing to be patient in order for the restaurant to do well.

Nice staff. But food does not look like pictures. Chicken fried steak paper thin and instant gravy. Burnt pancakes. Water in the potatoe dish. Too bad maybe it was just an off day: (

Quality is on par with most diner chains. Extensive omlette options as the name would imply. Food is not much to write home about, most people could make the same or better at home. The service however is great servers and nice and attentive. Atmosphere is also homey and unique.

The food is so good and the options are endless. Go hungry because the Omletttes are huge. Staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Our server Brenda was Awesome.

Not only does the food suck here, but the rude owners who are constantly in the back fighting and cursing seal the deal: I'm never coming back. Why is the place even open for business? It seems like the owners gave up a LONG time ago.
