Love the town of Ferndale, and I love this store. It's the epitome of Victorian with a modern twist.

One of Humboldt’s treasures. I lost track of time and accidentally stayed past closing, but the owner was so gracious to me. Love this shop!

Super fun place to shop for fun toys and gifts, specialty food, kitchen, and house wares. Huge fun variety, plus historic exhibitions of food and housewares. Fun place to visit, great place for gift shopping and candy.

Staff was friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of hats and kids toys. Prices were good and we found some great things to purchase.

What a fun store. Not only do they have tons of things for my childhood in the 70s but they even have some museum displays. I found games and candy that I haven’t seen since I was a little. They also have some really unique and beautiful glass. It was tempting to buy out the whole store, but we behaved ourselves and came up with a few great things I could spend hours looking around in there, if nothing else.

A moderately priced piece of Americana, located in downtown Ferndale. Lots and lots of reproduction items that will take you back to your childhood. Think lite brites and other kitsch from the '70s, a lot of which I hadn't seen since then.

Also has a variety of antique glassware, VERY reasonably priced.

Totally worth a stop, we actually came back on the last day in town for our Honeymoon to purchase some of the aforementioned glass.

Always a fabulous shopping experience! I live in Ferndale & still can't get enough of the Mercantile! It is like a treasure hunt, whenever I go in, I find items I didn't even know I needed!

Always an AMAZING experience! Warm and friendly staff, any nostalgic item you could ever want. Games, toys and candy that remind me of being a little girl. What's not to love!
