The best egg custard tart that you can find in the whole country! Yes, no doubt, it’s the best! The only bad thing about this bakery is that you never know when it will be open, since the owner love to take vacations.

After multiple attempts, I have given up on how UNRELIABLE when their doors are open.
Don't get me wrong, their tarts are fantastic. But it's not worth your trouble if every attempt to visit, they're CLOSED.
Instead, I've been going to Cherry Blossom bakery on Clement St (Outer Richmond) for their egg tarts.

These egg treats are "similar " to flan.these have the most amazing flaky crust.so delicious! We're from reno and every SF visit deserves a visit to Golden Gate Bakery!
