Golden Gate Bridge reviews
13Amazing sights, incredible experience. Don't worry if you miss the parking, you will have an opportunity on the other side of the bridge.
The kids thought it would be golden. They were surprised to see it was red. But we were still in awe.

Too touristy but it gets you places. Try seeing all of marine county I even if you are in San Francisco well worth it.
Super spacious parking area, public restrooms, great stopping point to take photos of the bridge
This is an iconic landmark. Don't forget to visit Fort Point below on the SF side (free), and Fort Baker on the Sausalito side. I rented a bike at Fisherman's Wharf, visited Fort Point, rode across the bridge, visited Fort Baker, and rode into Sausalito. I took the ferry back to the Ferry building and had a great view of the Golden Gate Bridge, the Bay Bridge, of SF and of the seldom seen back side of Alcatraz. Great day, great adventure.
This was my favorite place in SF, I could have stayed in the bridge watching all the action (people, boats, scenery) for hours. However, my wife who is not a fan of heights did not enjoy it.
A beautiful and Iconic landmark to visit. The views are beautiful! Everyone should visit once in their lifetime.
We biked the bridge round to Tuburon via Sausalito - what a great day. Ride not too difficult and great sights along the way. We arrived at Tuburon for lunch and then caught the ferry back to Fisherman's Wharf.
Wow what a beautiful location, you have to walk across it to truly experience it. This bridge is a feat of mankind that everyone in or visiting San Francisco must see.
Walk or ride across the bridge! Besutiful views. Kind of loud traffic but worth it. We could see dolphins and sealions down below.
Love our road trips to San Francisco. Each visit I learn something new. There is always some place new & interesting to see. If I had to move out of LA San Francisco is where I would move to. I like the city hustling bustling to try to get from point A to point B reminds me of NY. I like the city fast pace environment yet, it still offer areas where traffic is calm and you can relax from all the city noise & tourism. I always rent bikes and ride around for a couple hours on the bridge. What I don’t like is the lack of parking. Man, finding Park is ridiculous exhausting.
What define California the best are its culture, climate and charm. And obviously, the charm and picture-perfect panorama of San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge has made it #1 destination on every visitor’s list. Once called "the bridge that couldn't be built" due to strong winds, fog, rock and treacherous tides, today it is one the seven wonders of the modern world. People say nowhere else is the up and down, both the ecstasy and agony, of the American experience so distilled as you can feel at and around GGB. The iconic bridge and its surrounds speak to the lows as well as the highs of American life.
