Golden Grill ( Syrian & Lebanese) cuisine, Fresno CA

All I can say is wow! I moved to Fresno almost a year ago and have been looking to find a good Mediterranean spot and I’ve officially found it! I had the chicken kebab plate with rice, hummus, and baba ghanoush and it was extremely delicious and very filling. The phones were ringing off the hook when I was there and I can see why now. As a plus, you can easily make two meals out of one plate in my opinion. They did NOT hold back and I appreciate it! I also got a pistachio and a chocolate baklava that I will be eating later, but they look amazing and I’m sure it will taste as good as they look. Thank you Golden Grill for the fantastic meal, I will be back!

Very good food.
The location is very small. About 6 tables. The service is excellent. We loved it. It seems like a family business.
The kibeh was good, but not what we are used to, but still very good.
I would recommend the plates instead of the wraps. The look on the plates was absolutely great. The wraps were a little greasy for me. Still, very tasty, hands down.

Month ago decided to try this place and I did not expect great service amazing food remind me Lebanon my birth Country. Since then I stop weekly basis. I have tried every single item from the menu except the Manaesh I will try that soon as well. Thank you for opening this amazing cuisine for Fresno population we really need a place like this. Word thank you is not enough to say to you. I will really recommend you all to try this place you will be very happy.

Out of the middle eastern eateries some good and bad but Golden grill is milees ahead and the best from Shawermas or Kebabs is just the best period

Located in a small strip mall, this place is a true gem. Owned by a hard-working Syrian family, where the ladies at the back are prepping all the food, so you know the food will be good! Their sandwiches were delicious! I highly recommend their Chicken Tawouk and Kafta Sandwich in the saj bread. Flavorful and dripping with the meats’ juices, these sandwiches won’t disappoint. Their meat skewers were also delicious and tender. What we loved was that their food isn’t “Americanized”, so they have a very authentic-tasting menu. We finished our meal with their fresh Basbousa (the coconut was our fave) and their Arabic tea. All in all, a very satisfying and money-well-spent visit! This is one restaurant I will be happy to give my business to whenever I’m in the area.

P. S. Even though we had to wait quite a bit for our food to arrive, I’m still giving them 5 stars as their food and smiling faces more than made up for the late food.

The food is always good here. Service is excellent. Definitely the best halal food I’ve had.

If we are in Fresno or even remotely close to this restaurant we will make the effort to have this be a place we stop at. It is truly a gem of a restaurant and we become so happy everytime we get to eat here. The food never disappoints. Worth every dime every time.

This is one of my absolute favorite places to eat in town. Its a local family business, with the best Syrian & Lebanese food. I eat here at least once a week because it is so delicious. Trust me on this one, you will love it!

I loved the food, fresh, delicious, & yummy. Its a big serving for one person. Price is okay too. Environment is clean and well maintain.

Everything tastes amazing here, amazing service every time I come in and great atmosphere overall. Hands down the best middle eastern restaurant in town.

Food was delicious, really friendly and accommodating staff. Portions are plentiful and prices are excellent. Baba ganoush, falafel, fattoush, bulgur, yum! Do yourself a favor and save room for baklava!

Love this place and the customer service. The food is absolutely delicious, my favorite is the sujuck sandwich and the garlic sauce! Always worth the drive for me.

The beef kebab plate was great but I didn't like the rice because of the cinnamon in it. I really enjoyed the Baba Ghanouj but did not like the tzatziki. The meat was extremely good tho

The food was sooo fresh and delicious my new favorite spot for a good kabob. I got the combo kabob and all the meats were juicy and well seasoned. I love that my plate allowed me to pick my sides I got the hummus which was amazing and creamy and I got the tabouleh which was fresh!

I plan my trip from the east coast to maximize the number of times I eat at this place. Yes it is that good!
