3Mark and his crew were absolutely fantastic! Mark was fast to come by and give us a quote and then was able to squeeze us in his busy schedule. Jessie and John worked overtime on a Saturday to get the whole job done within a day. They were very hardworking and professional throughout the job. I highly recommend Golden Oak flooring!
Mark and his crew are AMAZING! They walked us through the entire process, from planning and selecting wood and styles. Our job wasn't the biggest, but the level of attentiveness and care made us feel incredible.
We dreaded the demolition and prep stages, having heard nightmares from other people about dust and disruption. There was NONE of that! Whatever magic machines they used did the job.
Next came the selection of materials, and Mark explained everything so clearly. He helped us pick a high-character red oak that fits our home aesthetic perfectly.
As the installation proceeded, I listened to the craftsmanship - each board was chosen to be placed exactly where it would make the most impact. Who knew THAT was a thing? ! The crew was always on time, always respectful that I worked from home, and always picked up at the end of the day.
Now that the finish is a few weeks old, I can happily report that the floor is gorgeous and flawless! It will be the last and best floor we ever buy for this house.
We are so happy with our new floors. Mark was easy to work with and efficient. We had hardwood in our family/kitchen room and wanted to extend the flooring into our living room. They did such an excellent job that the transition from old to new it is completely undetectable. We also had to transition to our tile entryway and again - beautifully done.
Something else to note, you are dealing with the owner and his crew. Supporting a local business. You call and Mark answers. This service is priceless. When making this type of investment into your home there is so much value in dealing with a company that cares about their workmanship. This isn't a big box company where they take your order then they sub contract to some anonymous 3rd party installer.
Again, delighted with my new floors and I would highly recommend them.
