Golden State Eye Medical Group

From reading other reviews, it seems as though what I believed to be unfortunate luck that made me late to my appointment was a godsend. They refused to see me, which I do understand was my own fault for being late. It was the total lack of compassion or respect that made me not wish to be rescheduled here. The receptionist sucks. She’s rude and uncaring. Agree wholeheartedly with all the other negative comments posted on here about their reception workers.

Took my daughter for the first time. I was in and out within an hr! They treated my daughter with so much kindness. She’s always been scared of going to the dr and they made her feel comfortable the whole time.

It took us 6 months to get an appointment because they did not have an optometrist, then three and a half hours at the facility the day of the appointment all for them to order and give me the wrong pair of glasses for my son. I have a photo of him in the glasses he picked out, and one of him in the glasses they gave us, and the difference is evident. They gave us frames that are much too small for his face and now we have to pay out of pocket for new frames because they don’t even have the respect to answer or call back when I have tried reaching them. This is seriously the most run down and unprofessional medical office I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing. Do not go here! And if by chance the office sees this review I would love it if you could Finally get back to me.

Waited weeks for an appointment just to be told they don't have a Dr? Then with an attitude she asked if I wanted to be put on a wait list or not!? I said sure do you have an estimate of about how long the wait might be? With an attitude again she says, "I don't know, it could be months, do you want to wait or not!? " Wow! The level of professionalism is non existent with this place. The first thing that should have been done when there was no Dr, should have been to start calling patients and letting them know so they have the option to go elsewhere. I waited weeks for this appointment! Wow just wow. SMH after reading the previous reviews I should have done my research first!

The doctor was great but the staff is horrible. The doctor gave them my prescription and told them to send it in on Monday. I been calling them almost a whole week because to let them know my pharmacy hasn't received it. No one there really cares. They also do not pick up the phone I have to call multiple times until I speak to a person.

I thought they were very kind professional and helpful. I appreciate it everything they did to help me. I could’ve lost my eyesight had it not been for them I really appreciate this please thank you very much for everything you guys did.

The staff and the doctors behaviors are not that good so, I'm not recommend to go that place.

My issue with this establishment is the terrible service you get from the phone ladies and appointment makers. I don’t know it just looks like they hate their job so much. Also, the structure here compared to other clinics is very poor. Like apportionments are very far off. You have to wait like a month or so to be seen. I wouldn’t recommend this place for people who want high quality fast service. The doctors are nice overall. But the overall experience and structure is very poor. It’s hard to deal with someone that hates his/her job
