11 After asking for my personal training sessions to be put on hold in August of 2023 I was charged in September anyway. When I brought it up to Michael the manager I was assured it wouldn’t happen again and that it would get resolved; however, I was charged again in October. It has been almost 5 months and I’m still waiting for my refund of $608 for the sessions I didn’t want.
No follow through and you will most likely be forgotten. If you need a refund good luck.
The personal trainers are amazing! But stopping the sessions has been a nightmare.
Horrible experience they dont deserve a single star staff members are horrible.they give attitude to paying customers they ahould replaze those type of people.im canceling my membership.i do not recomend the golda gym in anaheim
STAY AWAY FROM GOLDS, unless you like to pay for one more month before they let you cancel. I’ll never sign up for golds again, worst company when it comes to canceling. They won’t do it in person and give you a number to call. Second they get you again after waiting for someone to talk to by telling you still have to pay one more month. Pathetic I’ve never dealt with this with 24 hour, chuze, or EOS. Bad customer service and horrible cancellation procedure. STAY AWAY FROM GOLDS.

Important Note: This isn’t about the experience I had at the gym of using their equipment or how my experience I had with employees or how clean the gym. This review is going to talk about how much it took to get my refund for the down payment.
For those who are thinking of just trying out this gym and if you don’t like it and want a refund after trying it out for a day or two, you’re out of luck. It took me about 3 months to finally receive my refund of my down payment and this was with all the calling and in-person meetings trying to get my money back. And if you’re wondering why I didn’t cancel in-person? Well I did ask but instead they gave me a number to call and create an account to just cancel my subscription. As usual they make it difficult to cancel the subscription. Even after all that was said and done, you’ll properly won’t see it for a month if you’re lucky, even if you call for help you still have to wait since there isn’t something they can really do but ask you to wait another week and another week and so on.
Once again I don’t recommend this gym just for the fact it took so long to refund my down payment in the beginning. All the calling and in-person meeting would have not happened if they just refunded in-person
Dont come in here if you expect a quick and easy cancellation. They refused to cancel membership in person. Needed to do it online instead. It has been weeks and I have yet to get my refund. Very unfortunate
I called and asked if I could bring my friend with me as guest and they told yes of course you can, and I drove 20 minutes to get there and when we arrived the front desk told me that I have to pay $20 for my guest which is almost as much as the membership itself. Horrible experience never again.

A very ok gym. It does get very full and there are lots of kids/teenagers that are often very loud or are inconsiderate of other patrons personal space
This gym is really small, no pool or any other amenities. While the interior is new and clean (didn't visit locker rooms) the parking lot was dirty and sketchy. Homeless individuals straight across the entrance, one of them had set up white cardboard walls to defecate. The homeless community taking residence made me very concerned for my car. Will not be returning due to safety and health concerns.
