Gonzalez Mexican Restaurant reviews
20Beef taco was so very good. Expect the spicy kind of salsa if you’re used to the mild stuff. The taco made my day i wish i got 3
Visited Willow Creek & this place is walking distance from the Bigfoot motel. Tacos are good the salsa was very tasty. Of course they have alcohol options. Okay size place to dine in. Small town so not many severs available. But our waitress was quick. Good place to grab a bite.
The food was pretty good and it was prepared quickly. My only minor complaint is that the chips were kind of stale. The salsa And guacamole we're good, and the carne asada tacos were on point. My boys are their food, and we had a few moments of silence, so that was a plus.
Street tacos are good.
The potato enchiladas were very taste if your looking for a veggitarian dish. Only one person running the show the last 3 visits but food still came out in a timely manner.
Sounds dangie but rolled inland to view the wake of the fires. Bless those families taken by mother Gaia, let them rest in Life. On the way home stopped by the restaurant and ordered the camarones molcajete. Came out in culture, rock bowl o.k. A.a molcajete cactus, queso, and all the fixings. It was tasty or era sabroso. Was there closer to closing, still folks rolled in smiling and left content, as I. Gracias a nuestro servidor y al restaurante, mahalo to our server and the restaurant.
Great place to cool off and get some good food before or after your river trip in Willow Creek. It's near the grocery store and you can get some great food here.
The ice cold Negra Modelo on tap served with fresh lime went down so smooth! We loved the salsa and chips as we downed a few beers. The wife ordered the soup served with tortillas and veggies on side delicious and I got the Chimachanga which was one of the best I've had. It was totally stuffed with a huge portion of shredded beef and fried perfectly and covered with guacamole sour cream cheese lettuce tomatoes and man I want another! And another beer too!
Great service and a clean restaurant with clean bathrooms that they keep the riff raff out of.
Thanks! We will be back!
Always get the same dish. It used to be a tamale, Chile relleno, taco, enchilada with rice and beans. But they stopped making tamales. And split the dishes to two combos. One that has the Chile relleno and the other that has a burrito instead. I usually get the chicken burrito, taco and enchilada nowadays
Worst customer service Ever!
Asked the waitress for some ice and was told no we don't do that!
It was 40 degrees outside!
The food, prices, and service used to be better but now it's all slipping.except the prices, they're getting higher. It just seems like they know they're the only Mexican in town so they just don't care or something.
This is the verde bowl $10. Half a bowl of pork tomatio sauce and two tortillas. No cheese no sour cream. Nothing. A soup bowl full of sauce. This is after I dumped spoonful of salsa and boyfriends rice and beans in it. Sad. And waited 10 minutes before she came back too or I’d have ask for something else but yup I’m over it now. Tired frustrated and hungry
Really good, tasty Mexican food. I had the Chilli Verde lunch and the missus got the meatball soup with a side of refried beans. Everything had flavor, I would highly recommend for a quick bite if your passing thru.
This is just sad, The chips and cheese was a sad excuse for 'nachos'. The beef was dry and tasted old, The fish seem like it was all the discarded bits from the carcass. Guacamole was gross, And very expensive. I would rather have taco bell.
Love this place! Great people. The carnitas is some of the best I've ever had and the diablo sauce is to die for.
This was NOT Mexican food. Idk what it was. We were not given the correct order. The food was cool to the touch. Never ever again. Ok, they get one star for their salsa.
I came here with my brother from los angeles on our way to humboldt for my brothers schooling, the drive was so long an annoying that when we stopped by here to get a quick bite we had no energy and we were irritated, we sat down and began eating and this food brought back life into us not just being amazingly delicious but a true gem hidden in the mountains, ive been searching for this place and now ive found it. I will return
First-rate vibes and very attentive service. The food was crisp and delicious. Will clearly recommend this restaurant to friends and family. Fair rates and large meals. Keep up the great work.
Great and delightful food, I loved the atmosphere the spot has, and the employees were very kind. I will surely come back again.
This place is my favorite. I eat in a lot of restaurants but to this restaurant I go the most. The stuff is very attentive and the cuisine they cook is so yummy. I would always prefer to have a good dinner here. Highly recommended.
I eat here a lot since I work close by. I have to say the customer service is always great and they keep the spot well kept at all times. Rates are reasonable and they serve large portions.
I regularly stop grabbing some food in this place. I like the speedy service and well cooked dishes. Fantastic work.
