Goodwill Retail Store and Donation Center reviews
13Wasn’t closed and told to leave because they close in a few minutes. I just wanted to run in grab one item and go to the check out line. That was too much. Security was rude. Fire that guy.
I really do enjoy going shopping at the thrift store they have some very nice things there
I got a real problem the good will is way to close to me, it's becoming my favorite bad habit, I have saved so much compared if I went to a regular store, now I can't stop thinking about how much I saved, the manager Marie is very fair, I had a situation where I stuck up for a homeless person only wanting to check their belongings at the check out area where a casheer told them to leave their clean not dirty cooler on wheels I explained they could loose all their worldly possessions where this casheer told me to leave, really? So the manager Marie was very neutral and fair and actually listened to my side, that was a pleasent surprise, when she saw I was only sticking up for a down and out homeless person, she said I was welcome back anytime, as she saw I was a good customer, probably have seen me many times, and I told the manager I will not tolerate clean homeless people being trashed, and Marie understood my position, I have saved so much by buying at the good will
Gone are the days of looking at this Goodwill store as an affordable thrift store. This is not a non-profit business. I recommend that the IRS review its business category.
I couldn’t even get into this goodwill there was no parking and homeless people everywhere I felt like I was about to get shot
Nice employees. Very clean store and the clothes and items are nearly brand new! Fair prices. All around great store! If u happen to be in the area go check it out!
I haven't shopped at this particular Goodwill (not much of a thrifter, though I should be more of one to help the environment and not be lured into the capitalist system of an endless demand for new goods), but this place has been a godsend as I've been cleaning out my home in a panic, trying to make space before my man moves in (Yay, it's getting serious!).
I had originally intended to bring my pre-loved items to Father Joe's Villages in Hillcrest, but their donation hours were ridiculously limited, so I ended up going to Goodwill. They accept donations until 5 p.m, which is extremely helpful when you've been cleaning out your house all day and want to drop off donations later in the afternoon. The security guard and the staff at Goodwill are so friendly! It really brightened my day to be helped by them after having been turned away with a shrug at Father Joe's Villages.
On my second trip to Goodwill, I was able to take a quick look around while waiting for a cart on which to load my donations, and they have some really cute stuff! Obviously, clothing will always be the main items sold, but they also had an adorable Star Wars display near the front with several Grogu items (baby Yoda, if you or your kids are looking for that), along with other characters. There was a comic-type display with Pikachu and comic book character figurines and clothing, and a nice book collection, too. I saw lots of baskets and vases in the back, so you can find home goods, too. I didn't look at pricing, but this is a fun little place to check out, and it's a great place to bring donations!
Given the location of this particular goodwill, it had the best selection of clothes. I’ve been to plenty of goodwills around San Diego and wow! I’m impressed.
Wanted $299.99 for a suitcase because it’s a designer bag; shame on Goodwill for over charging on stuff they got for free! Plus it is 1 inch to big for domestic airlines 63 versus 62!
Downtown San Diego California goodwill, lace and leather and anything in between, simply amazing! The cashier was the added blessing and the rest of the ladies. The most beautiful things. Been in other states but this goodwill has nothing but beautiful clothes, for everyone.
Very cool Goodwill store. Inventory is fantastic and keeps you "looking". Staff was fantastic and entertaining, super friendly and funny had me laughing (I had them laughing as well). Very enjoyable experience.
Nop! Get free stuff and sale at a ridiculous high price? I like, my wife likes GOODWILL STORES. This place wants to be rich in a day. RIDICULOUS HIGH PRICES, visited Saturday April 16 2022. Bought nothing. (also goodwill has seen the homeless crowd around?)
They are so amazing, had return & was so easy & it had been longer than 7day policy. But they helped me verry kindly! Amazing staff!
