Goodwill Southern California Store & Donation Center reviews
25LOVE the GW! Good selection, organized and clean. Helpful staff as well. Only drawback is the wee small parking lot.
What a racket these "Goodwill" stores are now.pricepoints are ridiculous. They pass off knockoffs of designer handbags as real by the price point. I actually saw a bag in a showcase that was priced at $99.00. There was absolutely no question it was a knock off. But there is this company where the CEO makes bank off of everyone's back and lives off of the misconceptions this is still the same brand as our history remembers.
What happened to the win win philosophies of goodwill, charity, and donations
Good goodwill. Has some decent items. Only thing was the cashier was mad. She was tossing my ceramic dog like trying to break it. Put two glass items together in a bag which obviously is a no.
I can see why this store gets a poor rating. Customer service is lacking. I asked for help from 2 different staff members and both were unhelpful with shrugs and dismissive. I needed a lightbulb to test a lamp and they were unwilling to help or accommodate, making excuses.
Prices seem a bit higher than I recall and I didn't find a mirror to see how a shirt might look on me but.the site was organized and easy to look for things. A nice young man opened his register when he saw I was waiting behind another patron with many more items than I had.
90% of the staff is friendly. The prices have gone up, but the customers safety remains a priority as they make announcements often and remind people of distancing and masking.
No dressing rooms or bathrooms and parking is impossible on weekend. Tiny store with some fine stuff sometimes but there are better Goodwills not too far from here - save yourself the hastle.
You can find some decent stuff here, and the employees are nice, but there’s no fitting room! And their exchange policy is just that, exchanges only.
They do not have a dressing room and there are no bathrooms if you need to go to the bathroom the parking lot is small and the clothing is not arranged by size at all. Never again
This would be my second time coming here to this goodwill the first experience was sweet we ended up getting a figurine that was an antique I should have post up the picture of it (" darn")
Anyways great price it was $7.99 and we ended up flipping it for $100 bucks of a profit! For such a bargain
See now this is the kind of store I like coming into! 2 time got my couples items that we liked with such great prices of course the only thing that drives me nuts is the parking lot make sure if you come to this goodwill save yourself rose extra turn and reverses inside this parking lot cause that what you will encouter. There is a public parking right next door juso save your selfs from what I just said and just parkthere a 30 second walk to the store literally!
They really out here charging $3.99 for a old donated t shirt when every other goodwill is $1.99
Good selection of men's clothing but parking is a nightmare. However, there is pay public parking lot next to the store. Small store with good selection. Staff needs training, if you see one coming with a merchandise cart, get out of the way no hesitation to run you over.
Is in a convenient location. Good stuff mostly all times. Yes messy others, but I might say because it was a busy Saturday. But, good items
The staff are great. They have very fair prices on everything. Everything looks organized and clean.
So the thrift closes at 8: 00 and my friend and I were still in the store and it was about 8: 02 and this thick employee who had highlights litterely raised her voice at us and said "ARE YOU GUYS READY? CAUSE WE'RE CLOSED" with attitude. Never again will I go there
Great selection. Great prices. Friendly staff. Convenient location that's near other retailers and restaurants.
The staff was really nice, but there wasn't too much of a selection. For being in a nicer part of town, the store was dingy and small. It seemed unclean. I've just never been to a goodwill that was so small and dirty before. There are better ones to go to, but the staff was really nice.
I have found some new items with the tags still-on - there are plenty of shoes for women - only one long rack for guys-I have found nice-looking well-made Italian shoes for which I have kicked myself for not buying- they were about $ 20
Usually well organized and clean, but the prices can be high for second hand items. Employees are generally helpful and the other customers are respectful.
Clean, good prices, well organized. Lost a star due to horrible parking. People have given up and left due to an inconvenient lot and lack of spaces.
