Goodwill Southern California Store & Donation Center reviews
15 The only thing I don't like about this Goodwill is he will not let you use their restroom. I swear I begged and begged that cashier to let me go in there but they would not open it for me. I'm just warning anybody that thinks the bathrooms are open they are not.
I also want a highly recommend their cashier April and also Jesse. The best manager in the world works here. She's really really pretty and she's one of the reasons why I keep coming back to the store because their customer service is really really good here.
The clothing section is well organized, the book selection is nice, and the staff is nice; however, it is a little small compared to other thrift stores and the appliances/miscellaneous non-clothing items seem to be less of a priority or focus since it looks very junk-like. It is all well organized, though and clean. I have no true complaints.
I always find some good shoes and clothing items here to resell. Store is clean and organized, and the employees are friendly.
Worst goodwill ever! They're picky about when you donate and what you donate. I can't even donate good condition baby cribs and items.
And you have like 2 hours early morning to get it done.
The stuff they have to buy isn't good. And it's cause they're so picky on top of that every employee I've met there always has a bad additude. I've tried this place like 4 times to donate and 2c going in they just suck.
Employee are rude they don’t sanitary the things they touch no customer service also the bathroom policy was subject to changes regarding covid19 we are goin the 3r year of covid if you are a elderly person or child or have a tampon emergency they will not open the door any reason the staff also have no reason for them to lock the bathroom no matter how much you spend here letting people not used restroom will not stop preventing covid they cleaning the restroom daily and all items donated will I’m not coming here for many reasons
The quality of goods has been on the decline for the past 2 years. However there are still plenty of gems to be found just not as much as before. Staff always friendly.
First time there, I got 3 items. The store was big and well lit. Very organized. Today was purple, got it for a dollar. Each day is a different color. Go check them out.
This place is very clean and organized. Clothing is sorted by clothing type and color. And gender. Last visit I bought 8 pieces of clothing for under $40. I am returning soon for sweaters.fall is around the corner.
If there was 5 more stars I'd give this place a 10! The Gothic girl at the register was cool and very informative of the deals of the day everytime I walk in.
It's the best store in California in my opinion. Just remember to have your receipt with you if you are bringing in a return because they cannot do a return without the receipt. They have drinks in there and they have a great variety of clothes, knick knacks, books, hats and electronics. Just remember there is not a bathroom or fitting rooms at this time because of covid and you will enjoy your visit. Remember every Thursday you can get whatever color is on display that day to buy merchandise for $1 instead of the regular price. They change the color every week. There is plenty of parking and the cashiers Lacey, Jesse and April are my personal favorites. They have an amazing general manager there who does the work of three people! She is incredible and I hope you get a chance to meet her.
Great selection of everything. One thing I really noticed is how organized the clothes are. Especially the mens! Lots of name brand clothing too! I highly suggest visiting. And I'm certainly going to visit again very soon in the near future!
Good selection you just have to dig and find. Best time to go is in the am. I went around around 10: 30 and like 3 people were in the store not including the employees. I found some good brands and non branded quality stuff. This place is your classic thrift. They aren't going to put together a get up for you but they def have the stuff to make a poppin fit. I'd say intermediate thirfter level.
Restrooms closed. Girl at register was a weirdo. The guy at register was very informative.
Store is big and have lots of different things, but I think somethings are a little overpriced.
Let me start off by saying, I’ve been to many goodwills and I shop frequently, this location is by far the best location I’ve been to in the greater Los Angeles area. From the employees making you feel welcomed, to the very lower prices than other stores. The range of items they put on the shelves is endless. They’ve done an impressive job maintaining us the public during this pandemic crisis. Thanks Goodwill Bp!
