Goodwill Southern California Store & Donation Center reviews
20I was really surprised at how well organized and clean this store was! I've never seen a thrift store look so orderly. I got a really cool winter coat that looked brand new from here, and the staff was very helpful and responsive.
I've got some cool clothes and such here. Staff is friendly and helpful. Stores usually pretty organized.
Do not buy electronics from this place. They don’t do exchanges for anything even if the device is faulty. I bought a vcr that ate my tape and now I lost $10. They should not have reopened if they were still going to sell faulty items and not have a return policy.
Definitely worth the drive we made out here! The staff is super helpful by the way, and the selection was more than decent. Found a couple good quality vintage houseware items. They have a mass selection of clothing with good furniture options as well.
Better than most Goodwill stores in the local area and they have nice clothes at low to moderate prices. In a good location too near Whittier Blvd and Colima Road. Friendly and polite staff that do help when needed. Too bad they closed the Arcadia store.
Understaffed and or incompetent
There’s usually no one available to open dressing rooms or to help and only one cashier
This goodwill is consistently disorganized and dysfunctional
Id say it’s a messy trap
Waste of time
When ever I'm in Whittier I stop by. Some time I'll find a treasure sometimes not. But I alway find a friendly face. That's something you can't pay for.
This place is in the process of turning over a new leaf because, for the longest time I’ve come here and the place looks as though they packed everything in a bomb, threw it and it exploded all over the place. That’s changed because they are beginning to organize everything and it is looking better
I don't like that everything is mixed up. Clothes are not displayed by size, but by gender only. I had to look through all of the pants for my size. Prices are reasonable
Great value, love the stuff I can find around here constantly go over and am able to find a deal
I find what i need form here at a amazing price, bought a $140 Coffemaker for SIX DOLLARS, you cant beat that.
Staffs polite, helpful, very friendly.store needs more baskets for customers use.prices going higher and higher.
This visit today was a big disappointment. Store was in disarray. The furniture section was empty the book area was messy with books scattered round. Not a good experience. The girl at front counter was calling for help in back room to bring out items to the floor. I left and never bought anything. Then went to Savers thrift and it was fantastic and organized. Very clean.
Spent my money there.
I went in there looking for dress shoes for myself instead I found two pairs of casual shoes, about seven tops four shorts all for my granddaughter that she actually liked and oh yeah a blouse for myself. My granddaughter was sure there would be nothing here for her and I saved a ton of money wow
They ran out of receipts for ALL registers. Waited in line forever! Overpriced for stuff that was "donated", all dirty too! Check out SAVERS, they have more reasonable prices and you don't feel so cheated for buying something that was initially "donated".
Friendly, fun staff. One staff member had stellar eyemakeup and smiled lots. Great selection of jackets and fantastic prices. I loved it.
Well walked in. Employees are not very helpful. I saw an office chair, it had one price on it, sadly it fell off. She called for a price of the chair. And it went up three times the original price.wow! So I left it.
Always clean inside. Cashier's are always helpful. 15% off on senior Tuesday. Even though Savers thrift shop is 30% on Tuesday, I still shop here.
I filled out community service here for a traffic violation so I got to know the staff, regular customers, and business.
It's a great place to buy quality clothes for one heck of a low price. The staff is super friendly, and informative and quick to assist you.
This was one places that I worked where everyone was respectful and actually helped.
