Google Cloud Space - California reviews
7 It was absolutely awesome to visit Google Cloud MP1!
The entrance is mind blowing, where a huge wall of computer chips are forming the word ‘Google’.
So many details in here, like the Mario Bros coffee table which is actually a game which you can play. The Mario Bros theme continues to the toilets, where there is Player 1 and Player 2.:)
The Google Cloud complex is a modern administrative area, which provides not only office spaces but also a spacious outdoor area serving for relaxation, sport activities or eating out. Abundance of greenery encourage inspiration. There are bikes (Gbikes), which can be used to move around the area. Overall, I had a very pleasant impression of this place.
Amazing place to be. Love the surroundings, the environment so nice and feels like home. Lots of greenery, proper parking lots for vehicles including charging stations for electric vehicles. There are chairs and tables everywhere in case you want to sit and relax. It's one of the best workplaces I've been to.
Phenomenal office with state of the art facilities. Cafeteria is well maintained with a good variety of food. The complex is big and there are plenty of on-site activities. Large and clean Olympic pool as well. Very cool office. Looking forward to their expansion.
Incredible executive briefing space. Several very cool exhibits like the pipe room, server room and interactive assistant wall. The barista at reception is a nice touch.
A fantastic home to cloud technology and business transformation conversations, with experts and great environment.
Google Campus Eating: Google Thinks of Everything, Even the Adult and Business Professional with Food Allergies
I had the pleasure of attending Google Gaming Developer’s In-House Bootcamp and Private Event for a few days last year. During the event, I was able to dine on campus. And I have to say, I was so impressed.
As an adult and business professional with a severe food allergy to nuts and dairy (anaphylaxis) dining with colleagues, clients, and work-related meals can be a source of anxiety for fear of no labeling (or false labeling), cross process allergy contamination, a severe allergic reaction during a meeting or important conversation, etc. Not with Google. They have everything labeled and their chef team is well versed in food allergies (prep, cross processing, contamination, etc). I was put at ease and able to enjoy my meals and good company with not an allergy worry in the sky (see what I did there Cloud Chasers and Clouds Like No Other) ;)
Pictured below is salad with all the gear and sushi, yes SUSHI. Fresh, delicious, and allergy friendly. Thank you, Google, for making foodies with food allergies feel included, safe, valued, and respected. At last, a business professional with severe food allergies can feel like part of the group, instead of a liability or an elephant in the room. You are all things Googly.
