Yes, the Dr helped relieve my back pain. But, I will never ever visit him again. I don't understand how a dr can be so rude, talk down to patients and demean them for asking questions. I was threatened with procedure cancellation for trying to ask about a procedure I did not have before. He told me I was disrespectful to ask him questions and referenced a plane capt. And would I ask him how to fly the plane: just wow. Don't expect any time to ask questions during an appt either. 3-4 min and he's done with you. I know we all have busy schedules but if you sit on a pedestal and think you are better than all and don't respect your patients needs or concerns then you deserve this low rating and are on my do not recommend list.

The front-desk referred me to Gobi Kasturi, MD. On my office visit day, I waited 1.5 hours in the waiting room before being seen. During the office visit, Kasturi, MD explained that I had nerve problem coming from spine, and that I also needed SI joint injections. He said I would have a spinal nerve block and SI injections. He did not explain either procedure. He said that on the day of the procedure, he does not speak to patients because he does "40 a day". On the day of the procedure, I checked in. I was called back to the back within 15 minutes. The nurse asked what procedures I was having. I explained spinal nerve block and SI joint injections. She said that wasn't what was on the sheet. She showed me that he put in for SI joint injections and hip injections. She asked if I wanted to speak to him. I said yes. She walked to the nurse's station, which is feet away from where I was sitting. She said that I didn't want the hip injections (I didn't say that; rather, I said that I was told I was having a spinal nerve block and SI injection and asked why I was having a hip injection) and that she knew what would happen if he spoke to me. She also confirmed that he only had 4 procedures that day. She returned and said that if he talked to me, he would cancel the procedure. I was able to get the SI joint injections that day. However, I was left feeling that his failure to communicate the exact procedures during our office visit and his refusal to speak to patients on the day of the procedure was somehow my fault. When I shared this with the nurse, she said, "I know, we don't like it either (the fact that he refuses to speak to patients). " I spoke to his office manager about his lack of professionalism. I do not recommend this provider. I strongly suggest that if you see him, you ask many questions during the office visit. If he does not provide you with adequate responses, I recommend you see a different provider.

Office is state of the art minimalist in decor and very organized from the time you enter the building.
Dr Kasturi is sharp in his knowledge but not relaxed, he is already thinking about the next patient and you do not want to hold him up with one more question.

This man is unprofessional, rude and condescending. Took dad in for pain in back, this so called doctor recommended a shot in his back for his condition. As we are not in the medical field, we asked him questions about this shot.where will the shot go? How does it work? Is it for pain? How many times will he need the shot? All relevant questions.he proceeded to raise his voice and replies, " You are asking me questions that I don't have the answers to, I am not a fortune teller, I can't predict the future! " If he doesn't know the answers to these questions, then he must not be a good doctor. No one asked him to predict the future, we just wanted more info. This was his standard answer to all our questions.don't go to him.

I have been a patient of Dr Kasturi for almost 3 years. Excellent Dr in my opinion. I have received 5 rounds of injections and every procedure has been easy and fairly painless. The staff at summit surgical are the nicest people and very professional.

Chronic Pain is often difficult to control, and can be daunting when searching for a provider. Dr Kasturi is professional, compassionate and very educating from the first appointment. I never feel rushed or hushed. I have had steroid injections in my back and neck as well as trigger point injections. He also recommended physical therapy. I must admit that I was unimpressed with the referral until I arrived at SPOC PT. The process has been handled with precise continuity. For the first time I feel the left hand KNOWS what the right hand is doing. Having my care in one spot is a gift. Not to mention that I’ve finally received some pain relief! This commendation doesn’t just apply to dr and Jenna in PT. Kayla, the MA who assists dr, is an excellent rep for her field and the dr. Sometimes we forget the support staff. Shout out to the office staff for their punctuality, knowledge and genuine interest when checking in and out! CHEERS DARLING!

Dr. Kasturi is my all time favorite doctor. He has helped me through a lot of pain. He's always there when I need him.

I am towards the end of a process to elevate pain from herniated discs in my lower back. Throughout the process with multiple appointments, both the staff and Dr. Kasturi have been informative, attentive to my concerns, and helped me to be l informed about the process and the reasons it is done this way.

Yesterday’s procedure was the first of two to remove pain for possibly up to a year so I can continue to strengthen my body’s core with workouts that will sustain the work that is taking place. I’m writing this 24 hours later after having my first pain-free night of sleep in many years!

Again, Sierra Pacific and Dr. Kasturi are experienced and well versed in both care for the presenting health condition and the communication and care it takes for me, as their patient, to have the knowledge I need to trust procedures I have not experienced before. Their facilities and staff are exceptional.

Dr. Kasturi is a great doctor who spends the time listening and really looking for problems and solutions. He is an excellent part of the SPOC team and I see several doctors there. I recommend Dr. Kasturi, SPOC and all the drs and staff. Great place and I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Staff is always friendly. I’m always seen in a timely manner. My appointments are usually quick, but any questions I have are always answered to my level of understanding

The staff was extremely helpful. I was in a lot of pain, but they made sure my wait didnt cause any added pain. The doctors, Katuri & Aryan explained my MRI and made sure that I was clear on every procedure available to me. Very knowledgeable in their fields.

Waited for over an hour in his exam room before he I saw him. Once he finally comes in the room he spends no more than 5 minutes with me telling me how my back isn’t in “harmony” and then walked out without answering any of my questions. His bed side manor was horrible. Waste of my time.

I absolutely love the staff and my Dr. (Dr. Kasturi).

I can’t find one thing bad to say. All so very caring and I wouldn’t ask for a better place to have my procedures at then at Fresno Surgical & my physicians at Sierra Orthopedic.

I was so anxious when I arrived. Covid means no escort aka: hubby. So I was on my own. I’m 52. I should be a big girl. The staff, from check in to exit, was friendly, cheerful and reassuring. My intake nurse Janice was fantastic. She really picked up on my anxiety and treated me with such dignity. Mable was my surgical nurse. She was knowledgeable and had a sense of humor. Even at 7: 30 am! We had. A few laughs with the anesthesiologist. And dr kasturi came in to reassure me the procedure I was having was quick and explained a few things. He instilled confidence in my decision to choose summit surgical and SPOC. FYI I had a steroid injection in my neck to hopefully relieve my pain. My whole experience was a pleasant surprise!
