Best music shop you'll find as far North as Sacramento and as far South as Fresno. Good people that work hard to make it easy for you. Big thumbs up to Elliott and Jay, they deserve raises for being so helpful

It took a lot of work to get t what I needed, but they didn’t let it go. They took two different stores to go ahead and help me and they made it happen.

Treated my guitar well, restrung and tuned it perfectly for me, didn't know what strings to get so i let them choose for me. No regrets, the tone on the strings are effin amazing.

Not my cup of tea. It was akward fun the moment we walked in. When I asked for the items I needed and explained my situation, I was told to find it elsewhere basically or drive to another city an hour away to get it from their repairman. That's pretty much standard for someone who doesn't carry your need, but the way we were dismissed was just really awkward. The clerk was way too interested in talking to her friend who was playing guitar rather than helping customers. Thank you, no.

To me, Gottschalks Music is the FUNNEST store in town. I really enjoy the staff. I’m enjoying my Line 6 amp - and Yamaha Astoria guitar. As for prices, Gottshalks surprised me - they’re competitive with the global eCommerce community! Great crew, great product, great service- great store!
