Always good food and great service when I come here. The California steak sandwich is the Best!

Used to LOVE this place way back on grape street. The flavors made up for wait times and parking issues. But I will NEVER pay you $14+ to drive TWENTY MINUTES for a basic sammich. You overestimate your value IMO.

Everything I’ve ever had here has been very good, from breakfast and lunch sandwiches, to the coffee and chips. The customer service has always been awesome and welcoming too, enough for me to write a review.

The sandwiches are fine. The sandwiches are not incredible. I get that inflation has resulted in a rise in prices and that's not unique to this place, but for the premium they charge (it's literally a walk in, grab, and go - just as the name suggests) you'd think the actual food might actually be worth it. In this case, you'd be wrong. Over $20 for a sandwich, a bag of chips, and a basic drink for counter service. Go buy the ingredients to make 5 of those sandwiches at the Vons next door for the same cost.

Come here for quick and standards deli fare. I don't find the sandwiches of any particular uniqueness, but they are quick and fresh. Standard bread, standard meats and nothing fancy. But friendly fast and ready to help. Common stop for me when I need a road sandwich on a busy lunch.

This place has subs, coffee, breakfast, salad and pizza. We got the hot chicken bacon ranch. Not bad. If you want a quick, Inexpensive meal, you should stop by here.

First time SUB GRAB & GOER.the sub was GREAT very fresh and tasty! The customer Service was EXCELLENT! I'd definitely go back again

Our particular visit was an exceptional one. Although she was by herself, after we arrived and placed our order a multitude of other people came into the shop to order. She maintained great patience and decorum with great service. The pepperoni pizza was quite good. I wasn't expecting that I guess because they specialize in sub sandwiches. And their sub sandwiches are above the bar. They each tasted so good.

Staff very friendly. Good fresh ingredients for both salads and sandwiches.

The staff was nice the food was great and they were getting off the freeway. The rig getting back on the freeway it’s kind of hard because we have to make a U-turn. There is outdoor seating. It’s also wonderful because of the eight dollar drop and go south. There is no indoor seating as of yet. Great place for lunch

They have the best subs in San Diego I would say.you should try their pastrami hot sandwich maybe it’s a little bit salty.but You can always order it with extra lettuce it comes so perfect and delicious.also them California steak sandwich and salad too are so bomb …now they serve bagel and coffee also.they are so fast and friendly always nice

Awesome sandwiches! Pastrami melt is my go to and does not disappoint. Been going to this place since they started some 20 years ago as Mimmos in little Italy. So good!

They say there open until 9 but I can't place more order at 8 30.

If they can even hold a time to be open how can they even hope to run a successful business.

Amazing. Had the BEST sandwich it was so good. Super fast service and everyone was friendly and helpful. Very clean place, lots of parking. I love it here and would highly recommend it.

I had the pastrami sandwich and it was awesome! Fresh ingredients in a warm toasted bread and the service was great as well.support local business this a a true San Diego family own business! Ps. He sandwich was so good I forgot to take a picture! LOL

Always wanted to stop by this place and finally got a chance. Nice varied menu, portions are great, all ingredients are fresh. Filling and ready quickly. Best part, you can order ahead for quick pick up. Will definitely come back and try another sub and maybe some macaroni salad. Their salads are also huge and amazing.
