2Pick a jiu jitsu gym that's close to work or home - this one is 3 minutes from my work.one that has highly qualified instructors - Prof. Marcelo is a world-class competitor.and one with great people - Prof. Justin is an amazing instructor and everyone here is welcoming and encouraging. That was my formula and even though I now work 35+minutes away, I still drive there 3x a week because I can't imagine not doing it.
Great gym that is conveniently located off the freeway and parking is never an issue. Professor Marcelo is a world-class professor who breaks down every technique for ALL levels to understand. The gym culture is welcoming and supportive in ensuring that each student gets the most out of their training. Highly recommend this gym to anyone ever considering learning or continuing their training in Brazilian Jiu Jutsu.
