I love bringing my dogs to hike here. They love it too. You can unleash the dogs and hike! See the Hollywood sign as well. Various routes provided so it doesn't get boring. My go-to for hiking with dogs.

The Headlands is one of the true joys of living in the North Bay. Rarely a week goes by without a quick trip up and a nice drive back through the old battlements and lighthouse areas. These are some of the most gorgeous views in the Bay Area.

Pretty park in the middle of the downtown bustle. Unlike many of the parks in downtown this one is kept scrupulosly clean, which makes for a more enjoyable visit, especially with small children.

A great clean well kept relaxing peaceful beautiful park full of trees offering architecture, fountains, art, small children's play area, a clock tower, scattered benches and a small section with tables on the side away from the grass area. Recommend reading a book, taking a stroll, having some quiet time, taking pics, good for strollers, toddlers and young children and small groups, do not recommend large groups, young teens or parties, not available for BBQ's. It is gated so I'm assuming they close it at sundown, street metered parking available, no bathrooms available. Walking distance to Ralph's, restaurants, bars, coffee shops and shopping.
