The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Don't book online, call them directly they'll give you a better price.

Not meet my expectation. Doesn't have Chinese breakfast anymore that booking website shows. And the furniture very old in my room.

Extremely nice and generous hotel! Amazing and understanding staff, the man and woman at the front desk are very kind. Clean room with everything you need, plus a beautiful view of the sunset as well. We left our passport in our room and they sent it all the way back to Canada for us free of charge and were very helpful. I’ll definitely come back here whenever i visit california again. Sweet hotel and great prices, i’ve very much enjoyed my stay.

All the workers are extremely friendly, it is an older hotel, not fancy or luxurious, but always clean, which is more important.good location, safe area. Lady at desk in daytime is a beautiful person, so nice.

I never stay at the grand inn off of Garfield right down the street from my boy Richard liu's house, At 300 Nickonalson street. Well my girlfriend got some unnecessary charges on her credit card from this spot. She might have gone there with him

Use to be a great place to stay! Was able to check out at 12 which made it really worth the stay! Until recently when it seems maybe management has changed. They kicked us out at 11 and was super rude about it when we asked when was the time changed since we had just stayed the night before and was told check out was at 12. Lady at front desk was super rude and had no answers. Rooms aren't worth the $100 anyways.

Was awesome. It's ran by a very friendly Asian family. It's located in LA and there are rollaway bars around the Downs stairs for night time safety.there down stairs rooms are smoking, but don't smell smoked in. They have real keys for the doors lol. Inside the rooms they offer little disposable house slippers and extra toothbrushes, which I have never seen before, but happened to need one as I dropped mine on the train floor eairlier in the day and threw it away. With no time to get a new one that night I was very excited to see, the never seen before free toothbrushes. If I ever found myself in LA again I would definitely stay here and recomend it to anyone else needing a place to stay near by.

Really quiet little motel, kept very clean, comfortable bed, great heater, great staff went out of the way to make my stay very enjoyable. Within very close proximity to several top restaurants. For the price and location, there's a great reason why they have such a high star rating from very loyal clientele and the new visitors as well. Even though it is a 2 star motel, it earns 5 stars. I highly recommend this place. Japanese restaurant across the way and next to Circle K is also 5 stars! This silly thing doesn't want to let me post yet so I guess I'll just write more what more can I write about a place that makes you so comfortable and goes out of their way?

Definitely wouldn't recommend again. They actually illegally went into my buddy's room and searched his bags. Mind you he is black. When we went back to our rooms he knocked on my door and told me all of his bags were open and he is allergic to dogs and said he couldn't stop sneezing. The man at the front desk was extremely rude to him and not myself which I am Mexican. I found it extremely weird. This is definitely not a place I would recommend to someone.
