Grand Palace Seafood Restaurant 富源酒家 reviews
17A great place to eat Cantonese dim sum and dishes. Have been going here for decades. This trip, helped host a 10-course dinner for 80+
Attitude is so bad I waited 30min for my order only to know that they forgot it and i just left empty stomach
Great food, nice atmosphere and impeccable service. It's been a while since lockdown we've been to this place. As always they adhere to their highest standard.
I definitely recommend Chow Men, and fried dumplings. The menu is versatile if you want something new and unusual, don't remember the names of the other dishes but they were really really good.
Bring kids, they are more than welcome here.
When we first walked in, there was an entire wedding happening on the bottom floor so we were taken to the second floor seating where we were able to overlook the whole event. This was a bit overwhelming given that it was unexpected and we had to walk through the reception which felt a little intrusive, so be mentally prepared that there might be an event occurring. It was quite loud throughout the entire restaurant, but it was interesting to hear the speeches and music. Service was not impacted by the event in any means, the server was very attentive and food came out quickly. We got two seasonal dishes which were absolutely amazing and the soup dumplings were the best I’ve had in a while! Affordable pricing, generous portion sizes, complimentary tea and cute animal shaped desserts at the end. Definitely going back!
I attended a lunch party here in the upper level and the food was good. We had shark fin soup, crab, shrimp, fried rice, soda, and tea. Take out boxes are available.
Spacious dining area, quick service, delicious food, reasonably priced. Definitely filled up as it got closer to dinner time.
The head waiter (he wore a different color suit) was rude and condescending. He splashed soup all over the lazy susan and table while ladeling it in the bowls. It is acceptable to have some splashing because we eat at chinese restaurants often and see this but this was excessive! We could feel his anger! His assistant waitress had the biggest frown on her face when we politely asked for some extra napkins.
I asked the other talbes in our party if they had the same experience and they all said yes! Something was off with the service last weekend! I lost my appetite!
TRAGIC! Don’t come or you will be REGRETFUL!
Very unpalatable, I gave one star because I can't give zero.
The sizzling oysters are very fishy; there are a lot of fish bones in the stewed black pepper fish head and belly, and the fish scales have not been scraped clean; the Fuchun Xiaolong is not as delicious as the quick-frozen ones bought in the supermarket.
The only thing worthy of praise is that two quicksand bags were sent after the checkout. The taste is not bad but there is no quicksand.
Great Dim sum place and even banquet ie baptism with family & friends reunion
Parking sometimes s problem tho especially Sat and Sun. But great food!
July 2023:
Ordered a set menu for dinner. Everything was really tasty.
The appetizer plate was delicious. The roasted pig was probably one of the tastiest that I have had in a long time. Tasted like a baby pig!
Soup fish maw was very good. Light and not overly salty.
Tofu with mushrooms and greens was excellent. Beef cubes was great. Peking duck was nice and crispy. Steamed whole fish tasted very fresh! Lobster noodles was perfectly cooked. Lobster tasted fresh!
Overall, the dinner was excellent. Service was balanced. Would definitely come back again for more delicious dinner!
We frequently came here, they are open today, 4th of July. Tips, reservations is for 6+ and best come after lunch crowds or early dinner.
Street parking only. Lots of seating available. Expect to wait during weekends. Group reservations are highly recommended. This restaurant is clean and grandiose. Staff are very helpful. Must try their har gaw.
A good Chinese restaurant option in SSF. Food is good, not spectacular but good and it's consistent and reliable. Not too pricey. I'd recommend the mooshu chicken for carry out.you get a huge portion.
We had low expectations when we went there for lunch after leaving the airport and we were blow away. The duck is sublime, the pea shoots delish, the sticky rice just right, the calamari mouth watering. It is as authentic as it gets. Amazingly well priced! My new fave. Congrats to the team in the kitchen
I attended a wedding of about 80 people. The venue was spacious and bright, and would not be affected by other diners. The service level was first-class, and the dishes were delicious, delicious, and everyone praised them.
Came here for lunch with colleagues. The restaurant was clean. The service was a bit slow, however, the staff was very attentive and helpful with selections. See the list of dishes we ordered in the photos below.
How beautiful this restaurant had a wedding and yet they let us in. The attention is wonderful and fast and tasty. I always recommend it because they are really good.
