Grand Resort Apartments, Merced CA

The surrounding is nice. Apartments are old and they are remodeling some of them I guess. Do not ever think that you will get your deposit back. They know how to charge you for basically nothing. They are so money hungry that they will charge hell out of you for 'so called' damages you make. LOL.it is so funny that they try to squeeze you like a lemon. Better to find other options if you can.

Great place to live. I lived there 3 years. Pool was fun for family fun, staff was always helpful.

We lived in Grand Resort Apartment, Merced for 3 years. Before leaving the apartment last month, me and my wife, we cleaned the apartment thoroughly. It was very clean except some tears and stains. The carpet was already very thin but we did not complain or inform them about it. They kept all of our deposit and asked me $1800 above it. When I called them and asked about it, they put forward several accusations saying that 'the apartment was very dirty', 'refrigerator was not working', 'carpet was very dirty' and expected me to be 'thankful' for being charged only that much. Seriously? Some parts of the carpets were little dirty, we accept that but no any other accusations are true. Any apartment will have minor tears and stains when people live there for 3 years. That is what deposits are for.

I am a graduate student living with a wife and 13 month old baby. This is insanely high amount for us in this inflation and post-pandemic time. We have been treated very unfairly. I realize we were so naive that we did not think we should be taking pictures of the rooms when we move in and move out. It was our first apartment and we never thought that this would happen. We did not cause any damages to their property. Stayed respectfully and nicely.

Stay away from them. They will find millions of ways to take money from you. I wish I could give them negative ratings.

I went here to visit a friend. The apartment is small, but nice. The complex was kinda of dark. Even during the sunny afternoon. It has a lot of overgrown trees trying to give it a tropical look. But in my opinion it makes it kinda of dark and a breeding ground for bugs. They should clean it up and landscape it better in my opinion.

It's one of the nicer places to live in Merced and reasonably priced, but their office hours are never accurate, so seeing anyone is a roll of the dice. Literally the same day they post papers of the new hours (10-6, Mon-Fri) I showed up at 430 and they are closed. This has happened at least a dozen times now.

Always look clean and well kept

This place is beautiful they waste so much water though when the sprinklers come on it puddles everywhere wasteful

Makes you feel like you are on vacation, with those palm trees and just the whole feeling of it.
