Grandview Park reviews
12Most underrated view in SF. Nearly full 360 with views of the bridge, Marin, beach, Sutro and downtown skyline. Fun to go at night right now as well and see observation wheel all lit up.
Amazing view of the ocean and the top of Golden Gate Bridge.its often very windy, but I believe it is on of the best and most overlooked view points in the city.
Some of the best views of this beautiful city. Almost an entire 360 degree view. The climb up is not an easy one especially if you start at the base of the Moraga steps, but it is worth it! Bring a heavy coat as it is windy and chilly up here!
One of my favorite places in the world. I remember my late teens drinking beers on that hill taking in the views on a Saturday Night. I love that hill. It's one of those places that makes you thankful to be born in San Francisco. It's one of those places that makes you wish you never left and it's one of those places that makes you want to come home and never leave again.
Beautiful landscape of San Francisco from up high this park. Really a gorgeous view when the sun is here! You can see pretty easily the ocean, the new Ferris Wheel at the Golden Gate Park, the Sutro Tower, Downtown etc. There are some other hidden gems like the 16th Street Tiered Steps and the Hidden Garden Steps close by to go visit. Really worth your time!
Without doubt the best view in San Francisco. You can see everything from downtown to Golden Gate Park to the putter sunset. It's very crowded around sunset however.
It provides a great view of the city. You can see Golden Gate Bridge and the downtown high rise buildings from here.
Watching sunset from here is magnificent. Just make sure you have a camera at hand to catch the memorable moments.
Since it can be very windy, remember to take a jacket with you.
Amazing views of the city! Also look for the green hairstreak butterfly as you walk up the stairs. It's one of the few remaining habitats.
Ok this is one of the best kept secrets in SF. Sure, you’ll usually find people there, but not nearly as many as you’ll find elsewhere.
Wear comfy shoes for this, lots of stairs and a good workout. Loved the view of the bridge and the hills from here. I checked out the japanese tea garden and then came over here for the view of the city + the mosaic steps!
Pretty small park on a top of the hill where people walk their dogs. The only amazing thing here is a spectacular views of San Francisco. Of course if you are lucky and there is no fog. When the air is clear, it is possible to enjoy the view of sunset.
The only way to get to the park is climbing the stairs. It is not so high, but anyway this attraction is not for everyone.
I can't believe I have overlooked this special spot for so many years. A great area to walk around (go find all the staircases!) and incredible GG Park views
