5I’ve used Joel since his La Habra days, back around 1983 or so. He’s been my go to guy in literally over a hundred guitars I’ve owned. He fixes no matter what I throw at him - builds, refrets, setups, customizations … his technical prowess is second to none. I would trust him with any repair job. I drove 2.5 hours today to drop off three guitars - that should tell you something. You & your guitar will be happier for using him.

Expert on floating bridges. Only person I trust with Floyd Rose guitars. And he does not charge an arm and a leg like most repair shops with a similar amount of experience.
The quality of work and detail that Joel executes is second to none. He did a setup on my guitar and it now plays itself. He is awesome to talk to and truly a master at his craft. Joel will be my go to for all guitar setups/repairs from now and on!
Joel is by far the best Luthier in OC. Priced EXTREMELY fair and a true expert in all things guitar. He does all my guitars and I have yet to have a single complaint! If you use Doc or GC- try Joel. I won't let Doc touch my guitar ever again. And why does Joel get such over the top reviews (check Yelp) ? Try him and see. This is my real name and I am a real customer and have been for YEARS! I can't tell clients to use Joel if he isn't exceptional- and of course he is! Hes broken the barrier of the big 3- "fast, affordable and quality work". The saying is you can only have 2, but with Joel you get all 3! Thanks Joel!
