A surprising gem near the heart of downtown San Diego. It's size is tiny but the view is HUGE! If you catch it on a quiet evening it'd be a good date spot in my opinion.
There is a little playground for those with young children as well.
As for parking.not so much. It really is just a little neighborhood park so it's curbside as you find it parking.

Wish they had normal restroom instead of stinky portable one.
Panoramic view from hill is AMAZING. Almost 360°. Sunsets are spectacular. Romantic. We love to have little picknicks there instead of dinner and watch how sun goes down on downtown city buildings and Corobado bridge.
Cons- practically no flat surfaces for kids to play. Playground almost ALWAYS trashed up by local teenagers

Beautiful, well-manicured, hilltop park with outstanding views of the surrounding area, including Tijuana and Mexican islands to the south, parts of downtown San Diego, and expansive vistas of land to the east. The grass is green and well-maintained with a path that meanders from the base of the hill on the corner of 26th and J Street up to the top and leads to the opposite side, past a playground and fenced basketball court. Tables and benches are sparse, so expect to sit in the grass if you're planning a picnic. Only qualm is that the hill is eroding onto the sidewalk on the west side, which should be addressed by the city. Go check out the views and bring takeout from one of the nearby Mexican joints.

Small local neighborhood park with panoramic views of San Diego. Great spot to watch the sunset or full moonrise.

Nice park. It's quiet and the neighborhood is great. Nice area to live in. Close to schools.

Nice park to enjoy downtown views. Since the park is uphill, walk to this park to get a nice workout. People with dogs are good, they are always on leashes. There are some homeless peeps, but they keep to themselves.

One of my favorite parks! I love this park because you can see the downtown and bay skylines. The mornings are peaceful. It is a nice little hill to relax and enjoy the view. The short way up the hill is a nice mini cardio challenge. On fourth of July, it was nice to see fireworks. Visitors seem respectful and the park is clean. I have not seen the bathroom. Dog owners usually clean up after their dogs.

I love this spot! Such a hidden treasure. You can see the majority of the Coronado Bridge among other things. Have a picnic there. You won't be disappointed.

I Love this park. I use to play out here as a kid. I use to live right across the street, It has an awesome view up in the hill, looks gorgeous at night.

A great place for watching the sunsets and I also get my daily exercise on by walking up and around the path.

Great view of the San Diego bay. No bathrooms but there's a basketball court, small padded playground for the kids and plenty of space to bring the blankets and baskets and have a quality rounded picnic or bbq. Winds are crispy and constant. The people are multicultural, chill and wild but nothing to be afraid of. One of the top parks in San Diego county in my opinion.

The park was really nice. People are keeping that distance and most seem to be wearing mask while walking around. Gorgeous views of Coronado Bridge & downtown SD. This dog friendly park is a fav!
