Grantline Veterinary Hospital, Elk Grove CA

Grantline Vet has been a part of our family's life since the early 90's. My parents brought our toy poodle (Rambeau) here for his 17 years of life. They now have a standard poodle (Gracie) who's been a regular for the past 8 years. I brought my first mini dachshund puppy (Bailey) here from 2006-2009 and made the drive all the way from Roseville because this was the only vet I trusted. In 2019, I adopted (Pearl) a 1 yr old Chihuahua/Papillon mix and knew exactly who her vet would be. They've taken such great care with all our family dogs. There is no place I would recommend more.

I was able to get a same day appointment which was amazing. The office is so nice and remembers things about your pet and treats them like family. They are so good with handling a scared pet. They explain things as well as go over the treatment plan and cost BEFORE they do anything. As much as I hate driving my crying cat 30 minutes each way, it worth the great treatment they provide.

Staff is very friendly. Never have to wait long for our appt. Clean comfortable waiting area.

Very nice staff, diagnosis my dog in less than 5 min.will definitely use them from now on.

First time to a Vet with these pups. Grantline is clean, the staff and Dr.were very welcoming and polite, and the cost seemed reasonable.

Wonderful and caring Vet hospital. Staff is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Dr. Leonard is wonderful and caring to his patients (my Pup). I have been taking my pup there for over 10 years now and have always received excellent care for my pet. I would defiantly recommend Grantline Vet Hospital to anyone wanting a great Vet for there dog.

I had not great feeling when I was talking to one of the operator for my first time appointment. I explained her how incident happened my dog got bitten by a dog at dog’s park.she said they got fight that jumped to the conclusion! I said She didn’t fight! She got attacked by aggressive dog! And she said “oh yeah “ she sounds careless what happened to my dog.
What a unprofessional person! She put me feeling down. Because this incident happened a couple days ago. I still have emotional. When I searched found this vet because they are close to my house. What I want to say is they should be careful what you say to patients!

Jesus. I called to inquire about the cost of a simple procedure and they wouldn't tell me. Geez, I'm not shopping for a car. Lame.

Dr. Leonard took time with us to explain in detail what our dog’s issue is, why and how it occurs, the possible treatments including upsides/downsides of each one. They were gentle with our dog and followed up on his progress.

We are used to a clinical quick in/out environment where we always left not really knowing what the problem was and feeling guilty about the extra services we declined that had nothing to do with why we brought our dog in.

Great first visit with my puppy. All the staff were very informative and provided great suggestions and recommendations. Added bonus that the place was very clean

What a wonderful find! It’s so hard these days to find a veterinarian that has caring people and a great doctor. I was so happy when I went for my visit with my dog and you can tell everyone here is caring and concerned for your furr baby! Never mind they do not gouge you with costs. I already recommend to all my friends this hospital because for some reason, every other Vet facility is subpar. - during Covid one of my rescues developed a growth and when I took her to the Vet on Sheldon, like I had been doing for years, I didn’t realize it had been sold to someone else. They told me 3 times she would be fine with no treatment. My baby died in my home and I was devastated and angry. Vowing to never return. So, it was time to find a new hospital. I never realized how hard that would be. After many calls, attitudes and over inflated prices I found this gem. I was in search of a great veterinarian and I found it! The staff and doctors are very professional and effective. They treat my dog very well and are available when needed.

Always a good experience. Dr. Leonard doesn’t beat around the bush. He will tell you what’s up with no nonsense. Brought my ‘non-compliant’ kitty in due to an abscess from a cat fight. It took me 10 minutes to get him in the carrier. When I was called back to the exam room (after they had examined him), they had worked some kitty magic and had him wrangled into compliance. Lol. (Don’t read into this. The nurse had him by the scruff and Doc was doing his thing). Reception was efficient, friendly, and well informed.

The friendliest people and theyre so kind to my fur children. The clinic itself is clean and the farm setting is gorgeous. Doctor is efficient and my pets love him. He is genuinely caring and his expertise unmatched.
