Grass Room DTLA, Los Angeles CA

Benches were uncomfortable, the staff almost rude, the food marginal, the venue made sounds much louder.

We are totally obsessed with the Grass Room. We are photographers and have documented many celebrations here and area always blown away by the cool, modern details of this space. Highly recommend this space if you are looking for a cool venue in LA.

Amazing space, great assistants & food technicians.
Do recommend dimming the music by half, still creates surround sound. But others have a chance to catch up with new fans & great times.

Grass Room was our wedding venue and we had the best experience. Everyone was great to work with from the day we booked the venue through our actual wedding day. My wife and I cannot recommend this place enough.

Great crabby chic venue in DTLA, I used to for a corporate conference and exhibition, a little bit tired in the detail but definitely a great quirky venue for an offbeat event, photoshoot or video location. Be warned though, it is in a very poor neighbourhood with a lot of homeless all around so guests or logistics in and out of venue needs to be managed.

I photographed a wedding reception at Grass Room DTLA and it is the most stunning space! The eclectic decor and indoor/outdoor space makes for the most unique and beautiful setting. The space is built in with beautiful lush tropical greenery, so you can dress it up or keep it minimal!

Went here for a wedding. Very spacious with various different ambient decorations in each room. Industrial meets mother nature. Great for events and celebrations

We held our wedding ceremony and reception at the Grass Room on October 1,2021.

The Grass Room venue is beautiful and all the Marvimon properties are so cool. We aren't aware of any other venues quite like them in Southern California. And the team at Marvimon (specifically Dana and Clare) were great to work with and super helpful.

We highly recommend Marvimon.

Beautiful space for events and weddings with a giant glass ceiling and lots of live tropical plants, bar dance floor and unique decor. I loved catering a wedding here over the weekend. It went off without a hitch! Unfortunately I didn't have time to take any pictures.

So many Hotels to choose from in Los Angeles and I just refuse to stay anywhere else! The Spa is amazing. The lounge is relaxing with amazing buffets of food.

Almost didn't stay here because of some of the reviews stating that the decor is dated. Glad I didn't listen as this is a lovely hotel. The rooms are new and the decor is a little retro, but not at all dated. The lobby is big and makes a nice statement. Pool and jacuzzi are excellent and were empty on a Monday at 7pm. Great executive lounge with good food. Will definitely be back.

Trendy spot with great music and a fun atmosphere. I came here with a large group to celebrate a friend's birthday and everyone had a blast. Kudos to the attentive bartenders for their excellent service!

This is hands-down one of my absolute favorite venues to photograph weddings at in Los Angeles! The staff is always a dream to work with (seriously, above and beyond helpful), the venue layout makes it so easy for me to document everything without missing a beat, and of course the venue itself is just gorgeous. My couples choose it because it offers such a unique backdrop in LA - love that "urban jungle" vibe - and I've always heard good things from the newlyweds afterwards. It's such a gem in this city! I photograph at a lot of different venues and see everything behind the scenes, and honestly I cannot say enough good things about the Grass Room and all of the other Marvimon properties as well!

I recently photographed a wedding here and it was such a modern and unique venue! Perfect for small & low-key weddings. The manager was SO nice and helpful (and even walked me back to my car!) and the whole day went off without a hitch! If you're an artsy couple who likes city and urban jungle vibes, DEFINITELY get married here!
