Grass Valley Games reviews
13Needs more selection in Pokemon cards. I get it ain't no Sacramento comics/card shop, but hey they are pretty cool people
I really like this place. As an autistic person, I appreciate their lack of harsh fluorescent lighting and lack of loud music that seem to be common with game stores. Everything is well organized, too, and staff are always willing to help you find what you need. I often come here to expand my dice collection, they have a beautiful selection of all kinds of dice, in sets and as singles. I wish the aisles were a tad wider, because it can be hard to navigate in a wheelchair, but I understand that the nature of such a store sometimes makes it hard to arrange things that way. Overall enjoy this little store and I also have to say- their hanging sign outside the door is THE most epic thing I have ever seen.
Shop atmosphere is is nice and relaxed. Plenty of different product choice. Even if they don't have what you want in store, there is a high probability they will order it for you. Owner will try as much as possible to get you what you are looking for. Great shop and great customer service. Want to rate it 7 stars
They have games, cards, card games like Magic the Gathering, comics and more. I like checking out the role playing books, like for Dungeons and Dragons.
The staff is knowledgeable. They can do some special orders.
Over-all it is a fun store. Check it out!
This place was incredible, and we got so much stuff! If you love games, this is the place to go and such a cool vibe, too!
One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I don’t know his name because he refused to help me until his Magic card game was over. Even then he didn’t want stop talking with buddies. He had black hair and a mullet. I was trying to purchase an army core box for around $220 but I decided against it and I put back my other purchases and just left. I waited around 30 minutes and he kept telling me after his game he would help me. I asked if there was someone else who had time to do their job, and he said he was a fill in and I just had to wait to checkout. Usually Ive had good experiences. But not this time. Never again will I ever go back. Avoid. There’s better gamestore in Auburn. Rude. Just an overall bad experience.
Truly an excellent game store! It has so many awesome hobbies to get into with lots of variety in terms of fun! Always has been my favorite nerd gift shop for all the unique board games.
Great local game store. If your looking to shop local for board games and comics this is the place. Even has an area to play games.
Great selection of board games of varying complexity. I'd been looking for Evolution: Climate and was happy to find it here!
This is a very nicely equipped game store with a large play area in the back. The guy behind the counter was attentive. People were playing MTG in the back when I was in the store.
Great game store. SUPER helpful in finding games for my adult kids who are serious game players. I was able to give examples of what they have/like and the suggestions were spot on. I can't wait for them to open at Christmas so I can play too.
Friendly staff. Clean store. Has all the fun games. So happy to see my hometown with a game store
Absolutely amazing store! Staff are quite possibly some of the nicest people I've ever met, and are super willing to help you with any hobby questions you have.
