Great haircuts every time for me and my family. The reps make sure to listen to what the customer wants and the results are outstanding!

This was the worst haircut of my entire life, I went on Sunday and I’ve cried every day since then. I asked for an inch off, some layers, and bangs. There is now 6 inches minimum of my hair gone, it went to my belly button and now the longest point is my shoulders. I am so heartbroken since I spent years growing my hair and just needed a trim and wanted some fun movement.

Easy check in process and I was seen right away. I'm pretty low maintenance when it comes to my hair so I was in and out in minutes. It was great.

I have been using Great Clips for the last 5 years and I was very happy with that. Today, sadly I had encountered a very rude hairstylist named Freda. I was trying to be very kind and polite towards her but she did not even show a glimpse of a smile. She yelled at me "Sit down". After, she asked me how long I want my hair. However, I did not hear her clearly so I asked "I am sorry, can you repeat that please? ". Then she leaned towards my ear and yelled at me with a very loud voice "HOW. LONG. YOU. WANT. YOUR. HAIR? ! " I was shocked. No one has yelled at me like that before. I told her the length I want and she started styling my hair.

During hairstyling, she would grab my head so hard and yank it around very hard. Whenever I asked her a question about my hairstyle, she would just lean towards my ear and yell with very high volume that my ear would ring after each sentence. I asked her opinion about how long I should cut my top. She looked at me very frustrated and yelled at me "JUST SHOW ME THE LENGTH".

Her actions would imply that I have no English speaking skills. Just because I have a little accent, doesn't mean I do not know how to speak English. I have completed my Ph. D.in USA, I have been around enough to learn how to communicate with hairstylist.

I was never treated this way in my life. This is very unprofessional to work with someone like Freda for Great Clips. I will never ever use Great Clips again.

After specifying that I simply wanted a 1 inch trim of the length at the back and emphasizing that I wanted just a 1/4 inch off the bangs etc.she did much more and very fast. Probably a frustrated stylist who would be working in a salon if she had talent and could follow instructions.

The manager or so on shift was rude the entire time she cut hair and charged expensively. I felt the bad vibe from the other staff that the manager was rude as well. I'd rather get a cut on base instead of coming back here.

Took my 11 year old granddaughter here to get her bangs cut. She did a great job and also cut all the dead ends off of the rest of her hair. Did a wonderful job. Check in was easy.
The place in Tierrasanta was clean and easy to find. I will go there again.

Experience: very average asked what I wanted, got it done. Friendliness vibe was okay, I’ve had great experiences with really great personalities that made me feel very welcomed at Greatclips before, it would be a disservice to them if I gave this rating 5/5

Didn’t do my side burns. -2 stars (it’s part of the haircut, I can always hold down part of the mask while they do it, now I have to do it myself at home)
Experience: mediocre -1 star

It gets the job done, I don’t think she meant any harm, but I might call ahead and see who’s there beforehand.
I would recommend if it’s close to you, don’t care about experience with your hair dresser, and if you don’t care about your sideburns.

Worst haircut I’ve ever gotten. The lady cutting my hair didn’t do what I asked for AT ALL I was so happy with my long curls on top of my head and I asked her not to touch them and she chopped it ALL off! Not to mention she spent the whole haircut playing peekaboo with a toddler and talking on the phone, I couldn’t get a word in to tell her how upset I was. Now I have to wait 8 months to grow back the hair I loved. Never going to great clips again.

This is the worst haircut I’ve ever gotten they left bald spots on my head and was a very sloppy haircut 0/10

Staff was very friendly, but she did not listen to any of my requests. I showed photos, asked for specific details, but these were not considered in my haircut. If style is your focus, you may be disappointed.: (

I took my 6 and 3 year old for a haircut. The ladies were absolutely wonderful to them! The haircuts were great! Thank you!
