Great Clips, Dublin CA

Terrible service. When asked to cut it shorter. Staff member grabbed my hair and just started chomping at it with no sense of purpose. Very rude

Friendly, fair prices, professional. I like that they keep track of how they cut my hair in the past so I get consistent results each time without an elaborate explanation of what I want.

I take both my kids here. Most of the times both kids had great experience - easy appointment and good customer service. Occasionally kids have trouble during the check-in but overall good experience.

I came into Great Clips hoping for a trim & some shape. I forget who I had gone to but her hair was beautiful, so I felt like I was in good hands. My hair was damp when she started cutting, I felt like it should’ve been wet more than it was. She was rushing around trying to finish my hair quick, just kind of winging it it looked like. She was flinging my hair back and forth in her hands, like really tossing it (which was so embarrassing!) also from the flinging she had created tons of knots which she just forced the brush through! People started coming in, so I was left sitting there with this nest that was created on my head. She started rushing to get to the people who were next. My hair is uneven (especially the front, wasn’t double checked) one side is straight, the other has texture and is curved inward and so poofy. I tipped, said goodbye and thank you & that’ll be the last time I go there. I learned my lesson. You get what you pay for. & no I will not post a picture I’m mortified.

Great experience with stylist. Didn't have appointment, walked-in, was promptly greeted. Salon was clean & I was called in less than 5 minutes. Stylist listened to me in explaining how I wanted my hair cut, made a couple of suggestions, which I appreciated. Stylists don't always cut my finger, wavy hair well, but this stylist did a fantastic job. Very pleased, will go there again when I'm out that way.

The hairdresser did not try to understand my requirements. When I tried explaining, she seemed uninterested. The hospitality was below average.

I have been going to this location for years now, can't say enough about great customer service of Jennifer, Nelo and Mary. Always a smile on their face, super friendly with my son, he looks forward to his hair cuts.

I have been to other Great Clips in Trivalley but this place has got the best hair stylists. Skip all San Ramon, Danville and Pleasanton GCs and go to this place at Waterford.

Very arrogant people and unprofessionals.
Don’t honor online checkin. They don’t even know how to use online system.
It is waste of time to download app and checking for appointment.

On the date of my haircut, this Great Clips held a 3.8 rating. I am not sure that this great clips deserves this rating. I was hesitant to try this location out, but am very glad that I did. My hair specialist was Maria, and she did an incredible job on my hair and fade. They honor all coupons that come in through mailers. I highly recommend everyone to try this establishment at least once before listening to the criticisms.

Do not go here. 8/18/2022 asked for a 1 guard on the sides and back and an 8 guard on top. The lady repeats this information to me. Instead, she uses a 1 guard and the sides and back and then decides to use a 1 guard and try to "eyeball" the top instead of using an 8. I wish I could keep my glasses on to see this as it is happening. I get home and use my own 6 guard and barely anything is cut. Upon further inspection at home, it is an uneven cut, which makes sense because "eyeballed" it. I had to use a 5 guard to clean everything up. I will not be going back.

Always a busy business, but, they make the effort to get your haircut asap! Friendly staff and clean shop as well.

The lady who help me today was so rude. She also blowed my mask with hair dryer, while I was trying to hold it she was still blowing. Though she didn’t do a good job but still I thanked her couple times and she did not respond.

Worst hair cut ever! Worse than if you cut your own hair at home. My hair ends up uneven and much shorter as we discussed. The hairdresser that I had was extremely rude and impossible to communicate. Don’t go there!

I have to been to many places to do hair. All of them did the great job. I recently started going to Dublin Great Clips - the best thing I found is staff. They are very welcoming. They do make sure fix the hair as we needed, same time they do give good suggestions as well. At the end, they want customers to be happy. Great job Great clips team.

Update: Its been more than a month, haven't heard from them after writing to their customer service team. The response below is just a canned response to show they care about the feedback but in-fact they don't care.

I've been going for a long time and you get a decent cut for a good price. Remember to check in online so you know exactly how long you are going to have to wait. They save your cut preferences so you don't have to explain each visit.

My son who has psoriasis so can have flaky scalp and has come to this establishment many times was told I should not take him out for cuts and started arguing with us. The stylist acted like he had a contagious disease and when I told her it wasn’t and we shouldn’t be discussing it infront of my son as she’s making him uncomfortable she said ‘well think about me’. Will never go here ever again!
