8Only place I could find in the area to get bulk pumice. High quality worm castings on site for a reasonable price. Has a soil mix for cannabis that I will be trying out in the near future. Wide range of soil amendment. Knowledgeable and pleasant staff.
Graeme is awesome! He’s super nice and was very helpful when I was trying to find the right mix of ingredients for my planters. There are several different materials to choose from and it can be intimidating, but he was very patient and insightful. Thanks, Graeme!
I really enjoyed my visit to Greatsoil. I was in town from Arizona and was able to pick up some pumice. Just from looking around at what they offer, I must say I am impressed! From the moment I came in the door the owner and another gentleman were extremely friendly. The owner and I had a great conversation and I will absolutely be back when I am in town!
Drivers are great. Receptionist is awesome. Owner is extremely knowledgeable about products.and awesome. I would highly recommend this establishment for all your gardening and landscaping needs. Never had a bad experience! They go above and beyond!
I ordered 10 yds of planter soil for landscaping and my raised beds, I am not sure I received the right soil (they never responded to my email) but if it is, I don't recommend it for raised beds, no matter how much you water, the top 1" gets wet and completely dry under while water runs away. I have veggies in both my old soil and the planter soil, the veggies in the planter soil are dyingI still have a few yds, not sure what I will do with it
I don’t recommend this place, here is why:
At the beginning of Spring We bought soil for our garden. Few weeks after we planted vegetables, we discovered soil came with a lot of weed seeds. It killed our vegetables.
We bought sod from them. After covering the needed area, we had extra leftovers about 100 sf. I called 3 times. First time I called, I was told they will credit me. Then they did not return my calls and never credit us. So sad
Greatsoil LLC did not deliver the quality they had promised as the soil was mostly DG and not specifically what I had ordered. Horrible customer service and would not recommend to anyone looking for quality soil.
