I've bought thousands of dollars worth of trees, plants and flowers (both indoor and outdoor) from this location - I've never had more dying/sick plants lost in my life; all from the same place. Maybe I got unlucky and they got hit with some bad stuff - (I run a 5 acres working farm; it's my job to keep things alive) - But every single purchase from this location ended up "infected/contaminated/infested" with something. Which, btw, also contaminated, hurt/killed many of my other living and healthy established plants already on my farm. Shameful and disappointing. What a waste of time, energy and money. I loved green acres until this nightmare.

Fun shopping here. Great for all your landscape and gardening needs. Helpful and knowledgeable staff are usually available to answer all your questions. The plant selection is amazing and appropriate for the area. Prices are competitive and quality is good.

Today I visited Green Acres in Auburn and had an excellent experience, thanks to the exceptional service provided by Julie. I needed assistance with irrigation and setting up misters for my upcoming wedding, and Julie went above and beyond to ensure that everything was taken care of.

Julie's knowledge and expertise in irrigation systems were evident as she guided me through the process. She patiently listened to my requirements and offered valuable suggestions on the best placement and setup for the misters. Her attention to detail and commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction were truly impressive.

What stood out the most was her willingness to go the extra mile. She didn't just provide assistance; she genuinely cared about making my wedding day memorable and stress-free. Thanks!

Amazing! So much better organized than before and clean! Crazy assortments of every kind of plants & lots of pots plus a gargoyle sculpture that I want for mother's day. The staff now is SO NICE! And not rude or snobby at all.like it used to be in that location.

Its a decent enough place for variety, but pricing is high. Go to Robinson Sand and Gravel in Auburn if you are looking for the bolero premium grass seed. It's about 35% cheaper.

They have a great variety of plants and other gardening stuff. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. They will load heavy items for you. Just one of the best nurserys that I've been too.

I have been to this specific Green Acres so many of times it’s always fun. I am so thankful how good y’all take care of all the plant babies. Even if I am just looking around, shopping, having any questions, or just breathe. The atmosphere at this Green Acres is so refreshing, I haven’t come across any negative employees I always look forward to come here I love the high vibes thank you for all the plant babies and materials y’all have blessed me with

Going to Green Acres in Auburn (still called Eisley's by most locals) is an experience. There are tens of thousands of plants to choose from; a leisurely stroll among them can take over a half hour. It's beautiful on a sunny day, and the place is so big that it doesn't feel crowded even when the overflow parking lot is nearly full. The staff is very friendly, and - during the Spring at least - there are plenty of employees eager to help you part with your money. The reason I can't give Green Acres a five-star rating is how EXPENSIVE it has become since Green Acres took over. For example, fruit trees that cost $37.50 two years ago now cost $45.00 (+20%). Small perennials that were $6.95 are now $8.95 (+29%). I bought a 15 gallon red maple for $165 there two years ago. It is now larger than the same red maple for sale at Eisley's for $875!

Update, Green acres has a wonderful selection of plants. The people who work there are very friendly but their knowledge is uneven. They also have a good selection of irrigation supplies and gardening equipment. If you have a difficult problem and can find a person who knows stuff, they can be very helpful. It's also good that it is part of a larger Sacramento area chain so if they don't have the plant you need in Auburn they might well be able to find it at one of their other stores.
