They offered dark beer and selzers that are amazing. They offer testers as well. Nice outside setting.

Good selection of beers. Their west coast IPA and hazy (False Memories and Swim Test) were my favorites. Decent space.

Love coming here for good quality food and beer! The price and quality for tots is also hard to pass up.

Great service. Very friendly people working here. The fries were nice and crispy and hot. The smash burger however was just average and had hard pieces of fat and grizzle (yuck). The “side salad” was massive and a great deal for $5. I think I would prefer Mario’s Butcher Shop smash burger over this but that place doesn’t have beer and the beer here is nice and cold. So it’s a toss up. I would come here more for the beer than the food. Pretzel looked good.

The food is phenomenal, the beer is great. This place has been a go-to for us for years. Unfortunately, though, it needs a play-place, because it seems like every pair of miserable millennial parents yearning for escape through an internal rinse of artisan-crafted alcohol feels this is the perfect place to bring their kids and let them run absolutely wild.
Frankly, it’s obnoxious and frustrating. Dozens of kids running and screaming throughout the seating area, and it seems to be the status quo lately.

As Costa Mesa locals, I never like leaving fewer than 5 stars, but I gotta be honest. Great beer (esp the michelada, IYKYK) and food options (great smash burger and love the battered fries). Outside seating is a great atmosphere with tons of tables.

My only gripe is that in the 5+ times we've been here, I don't think we've ever been treated super well by staff. (And if you're wondering, we are very easy-going patrons. It's a fair question to ask if we are intolerable jerks who complain or send things back constantly, but can confirm, we are chill and kind people) Most recently we went to celebrate a friend and I wondered if we had arrived after they had already closed or something, because the counter staff seemed genuinely bothered by us approaching to order. It was not even close to closing time. It was kinda weird to be honest; there were no smiles or eye contact, no greeting beyond "I can help who's next. " Just not the friendly, welcoming vibe you'd expect from people working in an objectively cool and tasty place.

Last note: maybe this is too much speculation for a review, but I have heard of breweries keeping all tips for the house rather than distributing to the individual servers. I wonder if that is the case here, which would remove any incentive for the service staff to be sincere or thorough in their interactions. Just a thought and maybe next time I'm in, I'll ask. Because I know we will go again:) Beer is too good and location is too convenient not to!

Quality Beer, Great Food, And A Killer Atmosphere! Plenty of seating inside and out. The service is awesome! These guys really know how to make great beer! Nice venue if you're looking for event space.

Great place for a quick bite and delicious beer. Kinda hidden, but there is usually plenty of parking. I recommend the smash burger and fries.

This place is a hidden gem. I love the quick service- you walk up and order then seat yourself. There’s wine options and a champagne option. We only ordered drinks but the menu had a lot of items that sounded delicious and the food being brought out looked great.
