EDIT: 11/1/23 - At the time of install I was informed a service contract would be included. After a year since install I reached out to see if I could schedule maintenance. I was informed that Green Day Power was no longer performing maintenance or service on their installed units. If this is important to you then I would look elsewhere

I shopped two places for a generac generator and found Green Day Power. My sales rep, Jesse, was helpful and polite and didn't try to oversell me and was easy to talk to.

Alex and the install team did a great job. They were courteous and professional and made sure I was happy with how the install went and made every effort to ensure the property was restored to original condition after trenching. I am very happy with the service I received.

We had a new roof, new a/c, and solar. Spent a boat load of money and it's been 7 months and EDP has STILL not gotten us up and running with SoCalEdison! We have holes in our house that have not been repaired from an electrical move nevermind our crazy expensive electrical bills that have NOT been reduced. So here we are with holes in our house, out over $60k, and super high electrical bills every month because of their lack of project management and integrity to their work.

I recently had the opportunity to collaborate with Green Day Power, and I must say I'm thoroughly impressed with their solar installation services. Their commitment to excellence definitely shines through.

NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL. I received an install from this company in January, by May the inverter failed and my solar turned off. I was under the impression I was reading the app correctly, which no training is provided, but I was reading it incorrectly. I realized I had no solar for the summer months of May-September. This company does NOT notify you if your solar goes down or if a piece of equipment fails. I had a technician come out and I was told 3-5 business days to get the solar back up. This is NOT true. They contract out their inverters to Solar Edge and on business day 6 when I followed up, I was told they are waiting on solar edge to deliver the inverter to me and THEN they would schedule a technician to come out to install. DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY.

Extremely poor customer service, requiring an extensive wait time for communication. Despite sending a complaint letter on August 13th, there has been no response up to this point. It has been nearly a year now, and the solar system has yet to pass the inspection.

Listen up Southern California. Do not deal with the Corona office. The salesperson got the deal and disappeared. I gave him a check the say of signig, which he kept for over a month before turning it in. It wasn't untill accounting reached out to me and asked for the deposit that, he waswas contacted and turned it in.

The Corona office is out of this world. They are absolutely liars, and will ignore your calls if they are able to see your number on the caller ID. My permits sat at the city for over 4 weeks. I would call every day to follow up and it was a different excuse all the time.

This has been a nightmare for me. The crew that showed up to do the install were nice and did a good job. However, they showed up with the wrong plans, not their fault. Apparently, whoever submitted the plans to the city, submitted to for the front house instead of the back.
I'm now trying to get th to schedule a final inspection but again they don't answer calls or respond to emails.

Also the company they they buy the equipment from CED Greentech has been sending me letters that claim there will be a lean put on my home if Greenday fails to pay for the equipment.

Please save yourself this nightmare and find a better company to do business with.

Worst experience. Please find someone else for your panel needs. Save yourself time and money. The salesperson was nice at first but as soon as I signed, he has not answered or returned my calls. It has been months now and he also kept my deposit. The project supervisor Davis Perez is also unprofessional and lies that the city has not issue the permit. However when I called the city they confirmed that it has been approved and this guy keeps saying it hasn't.

Green Day did an excellent job of our solar install in the East Bay. Great communication before and after install. On the day of, they finished in about 5 hours, which was impressive.

I had a very bad experience with Green Day Power Solar company. They had me sign a contract with a $1000 deposit that I paid upfront and promised me that the job would be done with the same proposal amount. After couple of months they came up with another proposal that’s double the amount of the first proposal. I kept asking why you guys made me sign a contract and now you’re making me pay double the price. They said because it will cost more to remove the roof tile and install the solar panels, which I already discussed with them and they said it won’t cost anything to complete the solar project. So I asked them to give me my $1000 deposit back and it took them a long time to return my deposit back. This is the worst company to do business with.

After a year of dealing with Green Day Power nothing has worked.from PGE rejecting the original design due to my power box being too small. "Some experts"
Then putting up a half system without running it by PGE! Now I need a new transformer which PGE says is a year out!
They finally offered reimbursement for what I've paid to the loan company but only until a conditional 2 kw is hooked up (which is not a fully working system). Well, No reimbursement has been received, and it's been a month. They couldn't even come through with that. I've been paying for Solar Panels for six months and I got nothing. Now they don't return my calls or.emails. Avoid this company. Soon they will be sold to another Company.krooks

On the day of installation, Green Day, their installer, arrived on time, conducted themselves politely and professionally, and they cleaned up the job site. Greenday power pathetic company!
Intially I got the quote and approved the quote on Nov 20th. I got design established by the engineer on Dec 13th and recieved approval documents. They did not install for 2 months. I keep follow up with them and finally open up my frusturation. Finally, They came with the installation date 03/06. The story do not end up there. There comes a big surprise, The installation guys came home and just out of curiosity, I asked those guys to show me the design document. It was a big surprise, they try to cheat with 14 panels and took 16 panels cost. I showed them the proof that design document shows 16 panels and here is the engineer approved design.

The installation guys ran off and no reply from anyone from Green day solar.

Secondly, I asked those guys install the inverter in the garage, They said as per the design its outside.we need extra money to install inside.

If you like surprises go Greenday power.

I worked with Jacob for end to end process of getting quote, comparing with other solar providers and then installing. Overall process was very smooth and hassle free. Jacob pays attention to the details and not being pushy to close the transaction, while working with me to resolve/answer my questions. I would highly recommend Jacob to anyone who is looking to go solar.
For green day company, all the people who came for installation were company employees, so they do not subcontract. All the employees were very professional and knowledgeable on what they were doing. They are very very punctual and very responsive. Process is very transparent and we are happy that we went with green day power.
We installed our system in September and overall we are very happy with the services Jacob and Green Day Power provided. After I signed the contract, till PTO, total process took less than 45 days which we were very happy about.
Even now in Feb 2023 as I contact Jacob and green day power, they are very supportive and accommodating to my needs.

We were quoting with several solar companies but definitely Green Day Solar was the best, Sergio and Jared are AWESOME explaining every detail of our purchase of Solar panels.

We researched several companies in Carlsbad before deciding to go with SolarGuru Energy. From the initial contact to the final install and follow-up they were great about answering our questions and explaining costs, energy production, net metering, and everything in between. Their install partner Green Day Power handled the building inspection, gave us everything we need for our tax reporting, and walked us through setting up the connections with our utility company. We went with a REC system and have had it for about 5 months now and are extremely pleased. Great company, would recommend.
