Green Farm Market of El Monte

Does this place have a WORKING phone? I have been calling for the past 15 minutes and no answer.

I visited they recycling center they are fast friendly and very helpful. I will do most of my recycling here they except crv only

Went to several stores before coming here, I was able to find ground chicken thigh dark meat at this market. The check out line was quick. Store was organized, neat and clean.

I hate giving negative reviews. But hopefully they'll take this as a constructive criticism. If you're close to this place and just getting a few items then it's fine. Otherwise you're better off going to 99 Ranch. You need to know when they get fresh items in. If you've been to Greenfarm then you know what I'm talking about. Especially the area that holds their vegetables. Hopefully they'll increase their standards.

I used to like this market. But recently, discovered they allow smoking heavy odor of cigarette smoke inside. It was everywhere. Unfortunately for me, I am very allergic and got sick. Too bad. I used to love the organic and fresh produce.

Make sure to check your receipt before leave, the cashier lady cheated. While I was not there, she scanned one of the highest item again. Luckily I caught it!

North El Monte Asian grocery store, lots of selection and regular prices. Cheaper than 99 Ranch but pricier than Good Fortune. Clean and organized, aisles not too tight. I go here if I can't find the exact thing from Good Fortune. I don't buy meats so can't say anything about the quality. They sell long fresh baguettes which I found interesting tho I don't know how fresh they actually are.
Overall it's good selection and average prices. Lots of parking space.

They have a wide selection of fish are they even fry it for you very good if you want a quick lunch.

I went to the market to buy meat. The staff there only willing to help people that speak Vietnamese. I waited so long and they finally decided to help me after they helped all the Vietnamese people even though they came last. Feel like discrimination. Worst staffs ever.

Produces not very fresh, market not very clean. But they do sometimes have good fruits on sales

Japanese sweet potatos are low priced. Great deal! And this is the only place where they sell black rice in El Monte that I know of.

Small market, is not crowded, price is good, but butcher staff are so very bad, Those are one old men, short, and one men hair is bit long, wear glasses. I have witnessed many times they bully, raise their voices to customer, although there were not many customers at that time, and customer and polite customers also only ask for the piece of meat they choose but these two man butchers are still annoyed with customers. Even I was bullied by them because I wanted them help me get a smaller piece f meat. I have complained to the manager of market but they are still so bad. I think if the management market do not change the customer service attitude of two these men people the they will lose a lot of customers. Because I saw some peoples ask me: why are they so upset with customers? And then they walk away and don't buy anymore. And me too.

A good amount of produce and mixed Asian groceries but deducting 2 stars for a lack of cashiers.

Average size market, not enough staffs at the time of present, place could be a little cleaner. But parking space is plenty.
