Green Oak Ranch, Vista CA

This establishment has saved thousands of peoples lives. The only constant in the past 15 years was Pastor Mike. I went here 10 years ago and he taught me the Bible. He didn't "force" me.he taught me. It saved me and my life. They have recently fired Pastor Mike and the facility has just depleted. Now it is a revolving door with no leadership. It has turned into a religious faction or clan. God my heart breaks

I"m really dissappointed with Pastor Mike and how he handled the private information that I was sending my brother about what happened a YEAR AGO before he went to rehab. I understand that Mike has to screen the letters that I was sending to my brother and listen to the phone calls. What I don't agree with is what he did with that information. My brother went to a different rehab and Mike shared private information to another leader about us without coming to my brother and I first. Some of the information he had wasn't even accurate and it put my brother and I in a real uncomfortable position not only at this other rehab but at a Calvalry Chapel church. Mike you should of asked my brother first or asked me what was going on. Instead you assumed that you knew about the situation and shared it with someone else. You had plenty of time to talk to my brother about this info while he was at the rehab. I know that God says if you confess your sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins. You had no idea what God was doing through my brother and I how God was he healing us and working through us. All you did was judge us and not asked hey, do you need prayer? Or what can I do to help? This rehab did help my brother get better with alcoholism but the pastor could have handled the information he had better. Just really unprofessional! Just becareful what you write or say when your going to this rehab or the letters you send out. This info is not private and exposed carelessly.

I lived here in the 80s, I was a little girl.maybe 9. We were homeless for months and this place took us in. They fed us, took care of us. I never went back there but I loved the staff, especially the cooks

It was really fun seeing all the animals and stuff but the bunk beds are really hard to sleep on

We spent 4 days at the ranch volunteering with The North County Stand Down. A beautiful space for our Veterans to receive care and kindness.

Really lovely place, beautiful unspoiled Parkside setting. An Oasis in the middle of a big city, hope it endures and doesn't get sold off at some point, only to have condos built on postage stamp lots. Friendly staff, trying to make a difference in people's lives.

It is the best place to come and have a spiritual Gathering with the church the supervisor his name is Steve he's very good and what he does and we're very appreciate it that we're going to have our youth service retreat with them we've been coming here for the last five years and it's been a blessing

As a Father who LOVES his Son struggling with drug addiction, it was Difficult to not imagine the worst case scenario for his life.
The deeper I got into Helping him, the more We experienced despair. GOD Showed me Clearly that I was getting in the way and Desperately Needed HELP!
Then I was directed to Green Oak Ranch.
Here we met Pastor Mike, an Incredible man who truly Cares about these guys! Mike sets Heavy Boundaries with major consequences while showing these men Compassion. My Son learned his Value while performing daily Responsibilities.
There are meetings throughout the week that have taught him how Important GOD’s future is for him.
He has even expressed a plan for his employment and possible careers due to helpful staff spending time showing him options.
I Highly recommend this Ranch for Anyone suffering from addiction or who have a LOVED One battling addiction and Wanting a New Life!

Green Oaks Ranch is a gift from God. I have seen lives being transformed into new creations in Christ.
A great place to send a loved one who is the grip of addiction.
It's also a great camp ground.

Green Oaks Ranch is a hidden gem and home to many.this beautiful place hosts camps and retreats but also houses a couple of wonderful communities. God's presence is in this place and I am so very thankful that I have friends who let me visit often! If you have never been but know of a church retreat coming soon, take the opportunity to come! Many trees, open fields, quiet spots, hikes and even a well maintained little animal rehabilitation area! A wonderful place where God shows up! I love it:)

This is the best thing I’ve ever done that I never knew I needed to do.it’s a nine month program you learn who you’re living for and it’s not for yourself it’s living to help others. I could’ve not done this on my own there’s only one person that got me through this and kept me off the grid for nine months kept me clean for nine months and healed me in my mind my body and my soul, take this opportunity to do this for yourself for your family and for Jesus you are his creation and you will be forgiven. Recommend Green Oak Ranch to your friends to your family for yourself, this will be the starting point of a life you never knew existed.

The way the wind rustles through the leaves of these gorgeous trees is enough reason to come here whenever the opportunity arises. It's ethereal.

Great fun all day. Quiet, peaceful, park and recreation areas are clean and safe for kids.

This ranch is good for an occasional visit. Not rehab. I grew up here had a great time and learned a lot about animals and Christian views.my brothers and sisters and I did a lot of hiking and fishing there. Which you could do anywhere. Itd be an awesome place for a spa weekend or bachelor/bachelorette party or weddings

Green oak ranch is such a wonderfully spiritual place. It's almost magical. The staff is available & very friendly. It's really a hidden gem in Vista. If u choose to go to Green oak ranch u will definitely have the experience of a lifetime!
