Green Store, Hermosa Beach CA

Cute little shop/market with great coffee. We ordered an Italian and a prosciutto with chicken sandwiches. Both were delicious and held up well when after a long beach walk. Coffee was great, owner and operator was very warm and kind.

The Green Store has it all! I especially love the deli. My favorite order is a custom veggie sandwich on a french baguette. Yum. My kiddos love the assortment of Harbo candies and ice creams.

I love this place. It’s cute and cozy with a nice patio and delicious sandwiches that you can either eat here or take to the beach which is right next-door.

We get custom sandwiches on ciabatta here regularly.they are supreme.the owner lady here is really nice + great location next to the beach.shouts out green store

An unorganized mess, they messed up my sandwiches 3 times and I had to remind them of my order 2 times, not a single time did they apologize for their mistakes

This place seems nice, I went in twice to get coffee while walking. The second time I bought a latte and a protein bar and the lady charged me 19 dollars. I told her that seemed high and she was like oh I entered the wrong amount and barely apologized. I got the vibe that if I didn't call it out she would have let me play that amount.

I wanna give her the benefit of the doubt but I was a bit sketched out by the fact that I had to be the one to ask her if it seemed right that a coffee and protein bar was actually 19 dollars.

So good sandwiches and the owner are friendly

Excellent little corner sandwich spot. Sandwiches were generous, not skimpy and the baguette roll was delicious. Order at the register and even on a busy Saturday it only took about 15-20 minutes to get the food. Outdoor tables are perfect

We got to visit this store yesterday. The owner was absolutely precious and very helpful. We needed some ice for drinks we had purchased elsewhere. Instead of making us buy a whole bag, she willingly gave us enough for our drinks. She knew the locals by name and clearly cared for them. She even has a special friendship with a local westie named Molly.
She is such a hard worker and cares about community and her beautiful store. She will always have friends in Montana thank you for the hospitality and kindness!
Visit her! You won't regret it.

This is a cute store in a great location. They have friendly staff. Have eaten here a couple of times. The first time our food order was not put in. Multiple people after us got their food and we waited over 45 mins for a sandwich. The food however when it came out was tasty. We recently went and I was more than disappointed. I ordered the roast beef sandwich. It came on a stale chewy roll and they were stingy with the portions. There was one slice of roast beef and one thin slice of cheese that was not brie. The sandwich was packed with lettuce. I don’t think I’ve ever had a sandwich with 1 slice of meat. Definitely not worth the price of $15.

This is one of my favourite places to get lunch, there is also a very nice selection of wine, and pretty much anything else you would expect to find in a European style grocery store. In my opinion the green store is one of those unique and special things that make Hermosa Beach such a great place to live!
