Greenbelt Restaurant / Bonaparte Bistro reviews
13My friends and I tried this place spontaneously, and we left full and happy. Service was great (the male server with longer hair in particular!) and had great no meat options. That pizza doe! Took some home for me to eat later! Looking forward to coming back!
Was on my honeymoon and first time in California and this place had one of the best burgers and fries I’ve I had in my life! The truffle fries, pizza, chicken fingers, and chicken Caesar salad with kale were absolutely delicious! We went there several times during our stay and their service was fast and very friendly. We wish we could take this place back home with us…ha ha ha. Will definitely visit again on our next trip!
My husband and I had lunch from here last weekend. We did takeout. I had the burger and upgraded to truffle fries. It was the best burger I've had in a really long time. It was fresh and flavorful. The bun was perfect. The fries were the perfect complement. My husband really enjoyed his kale Caesar salad with chicken. The chicken looked amazing. We finished the meal with the date cake which was good but it could have been a little more moist. The guy who rang us up was really nice too. I would absolutely go back.
I had delicious chicken, mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts. Also a mixed drink that was excellent! The waiter was very nice and attentive without bugging us! Very nice evening had by all.
My favorite restaurant in Hermosa Beach, and frankly, pretty much anywhere. Every time we go we order the same things: truffle fries, pizza with truffle oil, mushrooms and mozzarella, and the cheeseburger. They are soooo delicious we haven’t managed to venture out to try other items! We did finally try the sole dessert: date cake. It doesn’t sound appetizing. But I decided to take the chance on Mother’s Day and was rewarded with the most delicious, not to sweet caramel-like cake! My lord it was good!
The staff is always friendly, the atmosphere casual and unrushed. Quite the opposite, we often have to ask for the check. They don’t have much of a drink menu. Beer, soda, a small selection of wines. But I stick to the fresh brewed sangria. It is refreshing.
People watching near the pier, with tasty food and a sangria in hand. I couldn’t ask for more!
All the dishes were really tasty, service was fast and friendly, and the location was excellent.
I was extremely contented with their assistance. A five-stars satisfaction rating all the way for this restaurant. Flawless service!
Super delicious. Had the blackened salmon and hummus plate. All while watching sunset over Hermosa Beach on patio. What a gem.
I LOVE this place! Super local. Super fresh. Sometimes there’s things Not on the menu. Like the chicken soup. Mmmmmmm. Perfect with sangria! The crunchy jalapeños are over the top! Dog friendly patio. On lower Pier Avenue. Greenbelt HB in Hermosa Beach. Yummm
Excellent and flavorful food, I liked the ambience this place has, and the cashiers were super friendly. Will definitely come back again.
This was our first experience at Greenbelt Restaurant and certainly won't be our last. We will be back soon
I always come grabbing some food in here. I loved the swift customer service and well cooked food. Never disappointing.
Pretty awesome spot, almost right on the beach, just walking distance. I came here with a group of 8 girls and we were sat immediately on a Sunday afternoon/ early evening during happy hour- doesn't get any more perfect.
They have happy hour so when we arrived we basically tried one of everything.
**The times for happy hour are Mon-Fri 4-6pm and Sunday Funday 3: 30-5. **
Food is fresh and tasty. I had wings which were sweet and tried everyone else's food which was totally top notch and fresh as well. The hummus has curry in it and is so delicious. The flatbread that come last with the hummus is homemade! The truffle fries are tasty as well as the flatbreads. You can't go wrong with any happy hour item.
The service is FANTASTIC! Our sweet server was so kind and patient with our whole table. She allowed us to split the bill so each person paid their own way and was amazing at memorizing things. I mean she was really that impressive.
The parking in the area is better if you go up a street or two and get complimentary street parking if you don't find metered parking right away. We came from a festival so originally our transport there was Uber and then walked a bit all over.
