Gregorio's Restaurant, Carlsbad CA

We picked this spot on a whim because we had 12 people and needed a last-minute reservation. They could accommodate us which was great. Bread was solid. I got the chicken piccata which is my FAVE so I was stoked they had it. When it came out it was a plate of mushy thin spaghetti in gravy with one dinky piece of chicken. For $31. Everyone else said their food was okay. IMO You’re over-paying about $12 per entree for the location. Our server was amazing, friendly and comped my piccata. Overall a decent meal but not the best Italian of my life.

I remember it being ok.

The Linguini Clam sauce noodles were ok.

I feel like the sauce needed to be thicker rather than tasting like hot oily water.

It had a taste but not a memorable one, maybe its not worth it especially for it's price. I was also told the 4 cheese lasagna was not something to write home about.

The servers were good though and the place is a nice place to sit down at.

Came here for dinner! Had the Caesar salad which was good and the prosciutto pear pizza! The pizza base was good, but they did not use real prosciutto tasted like bacon, was really thick too! Picked all of it off my pizza to eat the rest! They should not advertise it as prosciutto!

The pizza was good. I personally prefer more of a thin crust. It was stats thickness. We got cheese and Italian. I liked the cheese better. There are lots of toppings! They don't skimp. The patio area has heated lamps, so we didn't get cold. The service was pretty fast too. The main issue is really the parking on the weekends? It is next to impossible to find a spot.

The food there is amazing. I haven't had any thing I didn't like. Melissa is the best also.

Fantastic food. Very casual dining atmosphere.

We ordered the eggplant parmesan special and it was delicious. Also, the vegetarian antipasto, baked scallops rolled in bacon, great bread. Literally everything was amazing.

It was 3 out of our party of 4 birthdays and they served us each a cricket, light yummy cream puff.

I can't complain about anything we ordered. It was chilly and we were right by a door that was constantly opening. It was a little loud but not impossible to hear. It was a little pricey, but it's Carlsbad and it didn't seem higher than anywhere else. So worth it!

It made our evening so special. This restaurant is somewhere well go back to absolutely.

Gnocchi chicken soup was sick, not in a bad way for a restaurant but in a good delicious way. Best I’ve ever had.

Good spot in Carlsbad to stop, slow down and enjoy good food in a warm and friendly place.

I’m not one to complain or really write reviews, but I don’t know I’m really disappointed with the food here. I’m not necessarily picky and I hate to complain but me and my mom came here tonight and the food absolutely had no flavor whatsoever. My mom ordered fettuccine Alfredo, and it tasted like just noodle butters. We even had to ask for crushed pepper, chili flakes, and salt to try and give it a little bit of flavor. Worse fettuccine alfredo and we had had plenty of different kinds.she ordered the house salad and it was super simple. My favorite thing was the bread and butter. Lol Also, I also got a pasta and it tasted like regular spaghetti that we could have made at home with a ready to go jar you could buy from walmart. Olive garden or cheesecake has better food, and its americanized not even authentic and there food is not even that good or actual italian food its just a fast chain. I thought this place would’ve been more authentic. Friendly service though, just sucks that we made a complaint and they didn’t even offer us an apology or a free dessert or ask if we needed anything else. Which you would at least expect for having a bad experience you know seems like they dont care but its okay I won’t be coming back or recommending. Ive never been this disappointed:/. Felt like a waste of money. I spent around $70 to not even enjoy our food. $70 for bland flavorless food. The ridiculous part is we payed $20 & $25 for “half” portion pastas too. Barely got checked on too. Maybe the food had no flavor because they were busy so maybe they were rushing it. But yeah I wouldnt come back! (Keep in mind I never complain this is like the first time i write a review) not worth the price & i dont mind paying for good food! But this place is ridiculous

Outstanding gluten free Linguini, garlic, plum tomatoes, basil. Well worth every cent.and then some.

Delightful and tasty Italian. Eggplant delicious as was Calamari. Chop wedge salad just ok. Pizza very good:). Nice selection of wines to go with and for those who like the more robust reds they have a really nice Zinfandel.

Loved that they have a patio area that's dog friendly. My bolognese was okay. The calamari was great! Service was excellent.

The best pizzas. The outdoor seating area is very pleasant and the servers are very accommodating.
